The patio umbrella is a really nice setup. Would recommend it to anyone. We had a problem with our unit. A sudden wind came and blew the the umbrella back and forth before we could collapse the canopy. As a result a critical piece was broken. Contacted service and very quickly they resolved the problem to our satisfaction.

I changed my rating due to the great response time and customer service when working with the seller and because the umbrella itself is doing well in breezy conditions however, be careful when buying because this umbrella does NOT rotate! It wasn’t clear that it didn’t rotate until we reached the final page of the instruction book and it showed the solution for the umbrella to move with the sun was to have two people move the base. The base recommends at least 264 pounds of sand/water so I cannot imagine Doing that..The quality of the hardware and stand is seems ok. . It’s not awful .I do have to say a lot of reviews said that it was difficult to put together and I think that the pictures in the booklet were clear enough to be able to tell how to put it together. The only time it takes two people is when you are inserting the actual umbrella and rod into the baseThe seller contacted me to indicate that there is an option for an 11’ that does rotate and is less expensive and to make it right. . That would probably be the way to go if you want to rotate the umbrella to follow the sun.

This umbrella was really easy to assemble out of the box. It’s sturdy and shades great by the pool! I went ahead and ordered a second one for another area of the patio! Great umbrellas!

Easy assembly and good quality.

I had bought two of these umbrellas for $1200 total. There is a 5-year fade warranty. Within a month of one umbrella being left open, it had faded to light blue from dark blue. As the return period had ended, I sent the seller an email with pictures proving the color was no longer sapphire blue.The seller is in China and would respond to my messages overnight and I would wake up to a response. There is no way to correspond with them in the US time zone. First they asked if I would accept a 15% refund and when I said no they asked if I would accept 30%. Then they wanted me to disassemble the umbrella (along with my disabled husband), and box it up for return to China. Finally, Amazon A to Z guarantee refunded the price of one umbrella after I reported the seller to them.This seller now refuses to provide a refund for the second umbrella saying it hasn't faded but that is because it hasn't been left open like the other one! I have no confidence the same thing isn't going to happen once I open the other one and actually begin using it. In the meantime, Amazon is out $600 for the refund, I am out $600 for a second inferior product and the seller gets to keep the entire $1200.STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE - they do not honor their warranties, they do not live up to their guarantee and then they will try to nickel-and-dime you when they get called out. Their product is a piece of garbage.

Could use a cover when it's closed

We like it but I wasn’t aware that it didn’t have a crank for turning from side to side. You have to move the base for that!Also, doesn't hold up very well in wind. We filled it with both water and sand totaling 640lbs, just as directed, and30 mph wind gusts tipped it over. This is not an uncommon thing in Minnesota. The vent on top doesn’t seem to open or make any difference which stinks. With all the choices out there, I wouldn’t order this umbrella again.
