This is not thin and tear able. I needed something to put on top of a cabinet at work. With the odd size, I wasn't sure it would work. I get one that was 2"x4" bigger than I needed and figured I'd cut it down, but I didn't need to. The tail end hangs over the back of the cabinet against the wall and holds it in place while the sides naturally fold over the edge. It's sturdy and easy to clean

This does not work as a desk top cover. It's too soft. However, I cut this into pieces, and it works great as a tray liner.

I purchased this when I bought my son a new 60" wood dresser because the older one was completely scratched on the top. I did not want the same thing to happen with the new and more expensive dresser, so I purchased this plastic topper which fit exactly on the top without trimming or cutting at all. I just rolled it out and voila, the dresser is now protected from colognes, books, scratches, etc for the life of the dresser. It works great and I highly recommend it.

This mat is great for toddlers! It is heavy weight so it doesn’t bunch. Great to protect a nice table and table cloth!

I use for putting underneath my tablecloths depending on how many leaves I have in the table. Works great.

There isn't any odor to the plastic,and size is accurate.

Great for protecting my desk that I used for painting. It's heavy duty and didn't take much to lay flat. Only complaint is the horrible smell.

Ordered this to help stop my wife's dressing table top from getting marked. It arrived on time, well packaged and was - helpfully - already the correct size. However, having been rolled up in a tight cylinder, it would not lie flat. The answer was to warm it with a hairdryer to make it more pliable and then place it on the surface. This helped it stay flat. The thickness is ideal and it has not discoloured, albeit it has only been in place for two months.

Perfect for our glass dining room table. It took it a couple of month to completely straighten, but that did not bother me too. Much. It is very easy not to wipe off the table and it is thick enough to provide a good protection.
