Saved my 27 year old washer for hopefully another 5 years.
Bought the full kit not knowing if it was the clutch or the motor coupling. Turned out it was only the motor coupling. Was able to pull the washer apart (thanks Youtube) replace the part and be back in business in about 75 minutes (including time to clean everything while the washer was open). Will post if we have any issues with the parts quality in the short or long term.

Clutch is bad. Buy a factory replacement.
The coupling is okay but the clutch was bad. The inner ring was too big in diameter and the plating on the outer plate was too rough. Initially the clutch would not slip and I had to remove it and work to get it to free up some. It then made noise. After a week I had to remove and replace the clutch. On removal I found the plastic friction pads to be worn out closest to the spring and the metal ring was dragging on the outer plate. Comparing it to the factory replacement part I could see that the inner ring was made too big in diameter.

Clutch doesn't last more then two months
This clutch was installed at the end of november 2024. By the beginning of january the clutch had failed but the other components are looking okay. The white stuff everywhere is clutch residue.
