Initially resistant to the idea of having this even hidden behind furniture on the front porch - NO WAY!I decided to give in...Now I am back today, buying a second one for the back patio! Man all of those years I have been scanning the lawn and mulch butts - due to the inconsiderate young folks. Never again!This thing is GREAT! I just HOPE the smoker remembers how he put it together when it needs emptied...hmm.Would make a great holiday gift and "nudge" to those who is inconsiderate to the landscaper [that's me!].

I bought this for my FIL, there are 5 adults in the family that smoke and although we all use an ashtray my FIL obsessively tosses our butts into a huge can away from the porch. So when I got this for him he was really pumped... we just throw them in there when done and all of a sudden there is no evidence of any of us smoking. Lol...

i was sick of having to pick up cigarette butts all the time, what is with it was smokers? I put this near the entrance/exit of the patio to my brewery. People actually use it which is great! As much as I hate cigarettes, it’s nice to have all those stinky butts in the one location.

This is a great but small cigarette bucket. It is smaller than most others, so make note it is 30" which is good for it's price. This has cut down on the cigarette butts being tossed around the grass where I placed it. The fact that it's being used has fulfilled my wishes for what it was bought for. I do strongly recommend filling the internal bucket half-way with sand, which is recommended in it's instructions. It gives the bucket much more stability with sand in it. It is a sturdy little item and blends well with beige stucco which makes it less of an eye sore than others. So, it isn't offensive to those who dislike smokers being outside. It was a worthy investment to me and contribution to the location I placed it at for the other people I share it with.

We purchased several of these for use at our Condominium Clubhouse and pool area. I've used other brands at other locations in the past, but this was the most affordable variation I found. We liked them so well that we purchased a couple for use at our home, one on the deck and one near the front porch. They are easy to set up, easy to clean, and do indeed work as claimed to extinguish cigarettes. With these, we don't have to worry about cigarette butts escaping an ashtray and getting into the lawns, or even worse, into the swimming pool where they cause issues with the filter. If you're concerned about cigarette butts and you have a number of smokers around, this is a perfect solution to keep those butts where they belong.

A bit shorter than I expected.

Product was very easy to assemble upon delivery. Does not tip over, very sturdy. Top is easily removable so the inside is easy to clean.

We got this for our patio. We have a household member that is a heavy smoker. Previously, we had a pot with sand in it and the buts were put in there. It smelled and was terrible to empty out (without dumping sand). We had to scoop out the cigarette butts. Nasty job. Also one time they caught on fire! Now they all drop into a bucket and we just open the side and dump bucket. No more scooping. It is light but we put sand under bucket which took care of that problem. The best part is no more smell of cigarette butts and it's designed to not catch on fire.

My wife and I have been smoke free for about 2 years now. Living a smoke free lifestyle made us hate all the things that come with smoking. The smelly clothese, mouth, fingers and the cigarette butts everywhere. We threw a 2020 new years bash at our house and got this. Greatest decision. Cigarette butts on the driveway and street where minimal. Look and feel of the justrite is great. Solid construction.

We have two of these. I myself do not smoke but often guests do. These are out of the way and convenient. They are also much neater, and so far safer than using beer bottles or ashtrays. They also get attention from the smokers who always ask where we got them so they can buy their own.I've had them for about a year and have emptied the buckets once so far.
