Durevole Sewing Scissors (3-Pack)

Great scissors. The biggest pair is very sharp, very smooth, and feels high quality. The little razor, clipper things are SWEET! However, being that I have 3 young girls that like to sew, and are always in the sewing basket for something, I couldn't keep the razor in there.With all of the products, items, and fun things I've purchased from AMAZON, I am surprised by the packaging on this. So many things I've received were packaged securely, double, triple, super sealed, and then stuck inside a hard plastic container- kinda things. THIS DOES NOT take any precaution in their packaging. These three tools are zip-tied to a small cardboard sheet. There is nothing around the razor, and you can stick your finger right on the blades.With that being said, my husband saw the razor and immediately called dibs. He said they would be great for his fishing stuff, and I haven't seen them since. Which is fine, my daughters don't need this to be tempted to use, and bleed.My 13 year old is very happy that we replaced our old sewing shears (and hates the word shears), because she's still working on her T-shirt quilt project---has the border left to do, and these scissors are making it easy for her to cut straight without bunching up the material.This is a great deal on 3 pairs, and they're all good quality. Worth buying.

When I first got the items, I thought they look a little flimsy, but then I told myself "you get what you pay for", but when I start using them, they are way better then they look. Extremely good value with all three of them at the price they sell for. I feel that they all take about a day to two to break in and now they work perfectly.I will strongly recommend them.

Can't believe I got 3 great pair of sissors for under 10 dollars! The large pair I wanted for cutting thick paper and chipboard in crafts. The small pair for cutting and trimming papers. The clippers are perfect for cutting threads quick at the sewing machine. I had a good pair of these snips several years ago and so glad to find another sharp pair. Just amazed these snips were just part of the good deal. . I've seen similar snips for the same price I received all 3 of these sissors for. These tools are stainless steel and very comfortable to use. So glad I ordered these from Amazon and recommend this offer to those looking for sharp tools in whatever the craft you do.

Vary good not just all right. The way I judge a cutting tool is how much i am afraid of it ,and these are scary, not in a bad way but keep me aware of its capabilities of doing a job, as well as it will do a job on me if it catches me not following the rules. Merrnk !! I like the feel of them in my hand cuts through multi layers of fabric like tee shirts love the nippers for removing thread tails buttons and other things going on Merrnk will buy again good buy for me..(TINKER)

For the price, I am very pleased with these scissors. They don't have a fine, polished finish or fancy look but they are sharp and useful. Certainly serve the purpose. Also, they are marked as made in Taiwan and I prefer that over mainland China. I've had very good experiences with the materials of Taiwanese products. China, not so much.

The little snipper is great at the machine to snip threads. The small scissors are sharp & perfect for hand sewing projects. That's the reason for 3 stars rather than 1. The large scissors are so hard to open they kill your hand! They are sharp enough, but way too tight or whatever to open easily. Other reviewers didn't seem to have this problem, so maybe my pair is defective. I'm very frugal & usually use the same pair of sewing scissors for about 10 years, but these are so hard & hurt my hand so much, today I actually ordered the Singer pair I was also considering.

These are very sturdy, sharp scissors. I use them for my sewing projects.

The main large scissors are okay, I was expecting a smoother cut. I'll probably end up buying something else this week. The small scissors are pretty okay but it's the snippersthat steal the show. If nothing else, these little guys made the combo pack worth it. Overall, not bad but not great.
