So easy to use! I'm kicking myself for not upgrading to a lever model from our old two-flaps situation. This corkscrew is so stable on the bottle mouth so the screw never goes in tilted, always straight. It sinks into the cork so easily and pulls out with such little force that I'm no longer somewhat scared of opening wine bottles, like I used to be (I used to prefer that my husband do it for me instead). The cork stays in good shape so we can plug up the bottle between glasses. Overall, I wish I had bought this product years ago.

I was in search of a high quality opener that looks and feels nice with a box to store it in when not in use. This product is not it and I'll be returning it.This product has a very high/positive review at my time of purchase, however it seems like most of those reviewers received the product for free or heavy discount...this should have a been a red flag for me.The plastic feels cheap and had rough edges, the box is not designed for long term storage, it arrived dented and is not something you'd keep. I would hesitate from giving this as a gift given the low quality of materials and packaging. As a positive, the seller did send a very nice email once my opener arrived indicating

Our first impression was that this is the easy, highly functional wine opener we always wanted. That impression lasted a few months until it broke with normal usage. The metal cap on top of the corkscrew popped off as my wife was driving the corkscrew into the cork using the lever (see photo). It was easy enough to screw the cap back on, but now it pops off more frequently than not, making it almost unusable. To make things worse, the foil knife split in two, again during normal use. These tools look nice and work well, but are poorly made and will probably not last. I recommend that you buy something else.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but everytime I have used this opener, the cork has been pushed into the bottle. I have tried 3 different bottles of wine and very carefully followed the instructions, but the cork does not come out..it goes in! Can anyone help? With all the good reviews it seems I may be doing something wrong.

Low quality item- I cannot recommend this opener. If you are looking for high quality- look elsewhere.

I purchased this item in December 2015, have not used it very often and it just broke in my hands. I liked how easy it was to use but after only a year of usage and maybe using it 25 times over that time, it was not worth the extra money I spent.

Not worth the money we spent. Do not buy this. First the foil cutter broke, which was replaced. Next, one of the handles on the cork puller broke. Even though the vendor is happy to replace, why hassle with it. You expect a simple device like this to give years of service. Amazon should drop this from their inventory. See photo.
