Revive that dusty old tent with these shiny new stakes
My family has an old tent that was missing a few stakes, so I picked these up. I actually haven’t used them yet, but suspect they will do what they’re supposed to. In any event, they will do better than no stakes at all. Coghlans is name that has been around for a long time, so I these should be fine. I like that they are twisted, although who knows if that will make any difference in their performance. If for some reason, they don’t work, I could maybe use them as projectiles to ward off a band of advancing zombies. In which case, I’ll prolly need more than six…

They work well enough.
I bought these to secure a swimming pool leaf net over my pool. We have very hard and rocky soil here in Vegas and it did take some effort to put them in the ground but once in they hold very well, (I had to make a starter hole with a screwdriver and hammer, then once started I could screw them in the rest of the way). If they can penetrate our soil then they should work very well for pitching a tent in 'regular' soil.

Skewer tent pegs
For such an inexpensive purchase these were quite exceptional. My husband used these for holding to the ground our plastic mesh surrounding our garden. Holds in place quite well as we have nothing but sugar sand in our area. He was very pleased as it functioned well and of course the price was affordable

The twisted ends make these tent pegs stronger and hold better however i did bend one at the straight part of the peg. DO NOT STEP ON THEM to plant them into the ground. you must use a mallet or a stick. They are metal so they aren't super lightweight but they certainly aren't heavy.

Great Quality
These worked great as an addition for my large family tent. They are very sturdy and of good quality. These do not bend like the cheaper versions that come with the tent. Despite being steel these are not very heavy, although these are not super-light like some aluminum versions.

Inexpensive, long, metal stakes -- exactly what you expect out of a tent peg.
I use these to secure my Christmas lawn decorations, and they work great. Have not had any issues with them pulling out of the ground. The shaft is twisted, which I assume is supposed to give it a little grip in the ground, but it doesn't make them any harder to push down.

Would have liked some thicker
Cheap price but also a bit of a cheap product. Pounding these stakes into the earth is probably going to bend them a bit. Would have liked some thicker steel

A suitable replacement for Coleman tent pegs
These are the right size for replacement tent pegs for a Coleman Montana tent. The pegs are square sided and have a beveled tip for supposedly better ground penetration. For what they do, these serve their purpose
