still using in dec 2021, first purchased july 2017
I bought this pen back in July 2017. It is almost 2022. I have obviously had to refill the ink pieces, but in all this has been one of the best pens I have ever used. I never lend it out, and if a person takes it without my permission, it is such an uncommon pen, it is easy to track down. The ink ALWAYS flows smoothly, the point is nice and fine, and it has the value of 4 in 1! I am a nurse, and mostly use the black and red, and the pencil portion. I use blue rarely and green even less. The clip broke about a few months after I bought the pen. But the rest of the pen is fine. It has written out many SBAR sheets and labeled many an item and has never let me down. If only humans could be as reliable as this pen, our world would be a much better place. I plan on upgrading to a more expensive zebra pen but this pen has served me well.

Very versatile, must-have multi-pen!
I can't believe I haven't written a review of this yet! I bought one about a year ago and have since bought more to give as gifts and now I am buying more for myself. I use this pen to color code events and appointments in my Hobonichi Weeks and as a teacher and tutor, I use it to write, sign documents, and give corrective feedback. The true selling point for me was that it includes a pencil which I use regularly. While the eraser is small, I reserve it for when I don't have access to my Pink Pearl. I haven't needed to use refills yet, so I can't speak to that experience. It also has the lever clip feature, so it can attach well to pockets, lanyards, notebooks, etc... Zebra is my absolute favorite writing utensil company. I can't recommend this enough!

My Dog Ate My Previous Pen
Replacing a pen I really liked after our puppy decided to destroy my first one. I really like the pencil addition to the four-color pen. The size of this pen fits my hand nicely too.

Great multifunction pen for the price. Ink lasts long and doesn't smear.
I've been using this pen for about 6 months, and it's been well worth the purchase. As a college student, I find that having multiple colors at my disposal really helps me take better and more readable notes during class. With this pen, I can quickly switch back and forth between colors without having to deal with different pens all over my desk. This pen has 4 colors AND a mechanical pencil component. I also like that pen tips are very fine—they look like 0.5mm. The ink doesn't smear or bleed through the paper, so this pen is perfect for writing on really thin notebook paper or writing on both sides of the page. I have yet to need a refill on any of the colors. If I could ask for one thing, it would be a bigger eraser. The eraser on this pen doesn't exactly look like it's ready for a rewrite of my thesis, but it serves well for most purposes.

Great pen, good ink
I love this pen. I use it all the time. The colors are vibrant, the feel is nice, the action is reliable and not overly loud. ( I hate noises, I'm picky that way ) Despite being an all plastic construction, nothing feels cheap. I bought a bunch as gifts, nobody has had any problems of significance.I'd give it 5 stars, but that there is some tendency for the ink to glob up on one of my colors. It just means that every day or so I need to swipe it off on some scratch paper so that I don't get a random ink glob on an official document. It retracts cleanly enough, leaving a visible track on the inside of the pen that it has been globby in the past. But there's no danger of it getting on my clothes, just on my documents. They sell refills of the ink cartridges. I should probably get one and assume that I just have a bad one in my pen. But the ink is part of the pen, so it's part of my review. For the price, just buy 2. :-)Also, the eraser is laughably small. Good for emergencies, not much more.

Colors and pencil a my fingertip
I hadn't used a multi colored pen since grade school, one of those ubiquitous Bic 4-color ones, and I don't think I ever liked using it. Unlike the Bic, was just a thick plastic tube, this one is stylish, has a comfortable grip, nice gel-like ink, and joy of joys it has a mechanical pencil in it too; a true all-in-one writing utensil in a great form factor. It is still much fatter than the standard pen and even thicker than a Sharpee too bit one must sort of accept that up front and the convenience of taking meeting notes and doing markups in color as well as having a pencil in hand makes it worth my while.I still see the 4-color Bics everywhere, especially at places like CVS and such, and they still look the same uninviting ones from decades ago. It boggles my mind that those are still mass produced and these new vastly superior gems are so much harder to find.

I Didn't Know I Needed It. I trust Zebra.
This is my 2nd multi-color 4-cartridge pen. My first was a promotional gift (I don't know which brand). I thought it was overkill till started using it-- this is the first time I've changed writing pen types in about 30 years. I always use a Zebra, but it's always been their original black ink pen. I used my promotional multicolor pen till it fell apart-- I have Zebra pens over 12 years old that I still use daily. I think this will last. I'm hooked on multicolor; I've no intention of going without one. This is a nice weight; love the "rubber" grip and black body. The benefit? Color coding notes and phone conversations, editing, drawing attention to important info, etc.

Exactlly What I Was Looking For
I was looking for a multi color pen, that also had a pencil integrated in it, which there aren't many of. Luckily I found this and I have no problems with it. It writes smoothly and it is easy to change between colors. It also comes with a eraser under the top pen cap, which I originally did not know about. The only little negative thing I have to say about it is that you have to load the pencil lead through the bottom, it would have been nice to be able to do it from the top. Overall i still love this pen and would definitely recommend it to everyone.
