A couple bad tubes
I have ordered this quite a few times and swear in Daler Rowney paints. But a couple of the tubes have been a bit... Off. Texture wise they are unable to be used. They are lumpy and not smooth at all. It has made me sad each time as I highly enjoy painting and can't use that tube. The tubes have come dirty even tho they are meant to be new. I am just glad it was only a few out of the entire set. But one of the ruined ones was the white

Great little paint set.
My mom bought my 11 year old these for Christmas and she used them all up. So I got her more. She loves to use them to paint on her drawing paper and canvases. They work well and last awhile. Great for an 11 year old honing her skill. Could use bigger on the more commonly used colors like white and black but otherwise no complaints.

PERFECT for bright layers of paint!
I love this particular set of paints for its color pallet, and I love this particular BRAND of paints because of its viscosity! I like to layer the paints, and these are not watery in any way straight out of the tube. Only brand I will use.

This stuff is dreadfully bad paint, it is thin and transparent, low pigment. You will have to fight to ever get coverage with it
This stuff is dreadfully bad paint, it is thin and transparent, low pigment. You will have to fight to ever get coverage with it. I just took up painting after watching a load of videos and decided I wanted to give it a try. Head to Walmart and grab this set for half the cost cost and figured it couldn't be that bad..... Was I ever wrong. I could get nothing to work like they were doing in any number of tutorials on Youtube or anywhere else. I would have just given up but I had already ordered a set of Liquitex Professional soft body paints from Amazon. When that paint arrived I tried some things again I could not even begin to do with this paint, there was a universe of difference. Where this stuff was as thin as water when trying to cover the Liquitex would cover as it should. Now I understand that these are cheap paints and that like student or basic paints they have far less pigment and the likes than the professional paints but not to this extent. The Liquitex professional is certainly far more expensive but it will do more for the money than any amount of this stuff will. A little of the Liquitex Professional goes a long ways where a lot of this Daler Rowney Simply Acrylic paint will go nowhere. The Liquitex Professional (or any other better brand) is far more expensive but it is worth every single penny. This is one case where you get even less than you pay for.I would recommend you go with a better brand, even the basic versions from Liquitex, Golden or any other top name would be fantastic to work with compared to this. I have messed around with cheap water colors that covered better than this stuff. If you are new to painting and or going to give it a try don't cut corners here. This paint is a good way to cause you to give up or turn away from paining before you ever really get to see what it is all about. My painting attempt may never turn out to amount to anything, but a good paint will give me a far better chance than this did.

Does not CURE!...Beware!
If zero stars were an option...I used the Simply Acrylic paints on two large (24"x30") canvases. Imagine my shock when the acrylic that had been drying for almost a MONTH smeared when I attempted to varnish with artist's liquid varnish. To see what the problem was, I swatched all of my acrylic paints. I let them dry for 48 hours and every single color in the Simply Acrylic line smeared or lifted when rubbed lightly with a damp q-tip. This did NOT happen with my better quality acrylics. I did not use a retarder.I spent many, MANY hours on these paintings so to say I was upset was a huge understatement.I did have one tube of the Daler Rowney System 3 paint and it performed well.

Worst acrylic paint ever!
Do not buy if you're using on a canvas. I repeat, DO NOT BUY. You get what you pay for. Invest in a more quality paint. This paint is extremely transparent and takes a lifetime to dry! Good luck doing layers...you can't. Very watery and thin.

Dries so fast
I felt this dried so fast. Too fast. This is my first acrylic paint. I just felt it was hard to blend just right. Lol

A tinta me surpreendeu!
