Works great for curing UV cement
I purchased this light specifically for curing Norland NOA61 cement so I could install tritium vials on some EDC gear. This light is surprisingly nice and is super bright. The light includes a rechargeable battery and a charger, which is a nice addition. I found that this flashlight works much better than my cheaper UV flashlight for looking at currency, rocks/minerals, pet stains, etc. If you’re looking for a great UV light at a good price, this is it.

Quality build. BRIGHT beam.
This is the ultimate, dedicated, black light. It’s so effective, it has the strength to work in daylight. It’s so bright, and worth the money! The included battery is rechargeable. The battery charger is included, along with a canvas type flashlight holster that can be worn on a belt or inside a backpack or purse. The build has weight to it, and feels like a quality product. I’m excited about it. After I go to bed, I shine it all around my room just looking at how powerful the beam is.I checked my tomato plants with it. If you grow anything, you know backlight makes most of the pests glow so tomato worms are easier to find. This light is amazing. This is superior to my current black light which we ALWAYS use before bringing our luggage into any hotel room.I cannot say enough about this product. If I had known that it was this awesome, I wouldn’t have let it set in my cart for two years.Buy it. You won’t be disappointed.

I guess I got a lemon
Didn't work out of the pack.I have a couple UV flashlights at this point, this one is DOA. Maybe I got a lemon, I don't know. The beam was weak at making stuff glow, so I inspected closer shining it on paper near the light. It would dim and then turn off completely just holding it for a few seconds. I suspect something is up with the soldering joints in there or something similar. Probably I will try to take it apart and see if I can fix it, but out of the pack it didn't work. It did come with a neat little battery charger and a battery that both seem to work fine, but the light itself is a dud. Wishing other's better luck with theirs but they could probably QC these a little better.Update before this posts... for those with the skill. I took apart the button after testing it to deem it the culprit. I put a little solder joint between the spring and battery contact cup, reassembled, and it's working like a champ now. Not updating the ranking because this should never be a problem. A flashlight button should just work.

Works great, no complaints
Works as expected. I used the charger once and it appears to do it's job though rather slow. The light itself has been fine. It's really only used to charge glow in the dark books and stickers. I have no way to measure the wavelength but it's substantially different than the 405nm I use for curing 3d printer resin.

DarkBeam 365nm Blacklight Rechargeable Flashlight with 18650 battery, quick fix
Hello, At first I was let down. The flashlight did not work, even with putting in a different brand of battery and fully charging the supplied battery. Then, I twisted the flashlight and it would work, but not all the time. The flashlight would go off, even when just moving it around. The light would be dim and sometimes bright. I would have to twist the body to get it to work almost every time I tested it. What a let down, for it did not work as expected. Eventually, I took off the top part (screwed on) and placed a brand new one cent piece to be the contact point between the POSITIVE terminal of the battery and the spring. Works great now ! If it were not for the aforementioned problem, I would have given it 5 stars. I may purchase again, since I know a quick fix.

Works great
This is my first ultraviolet flashlight so I have nothing to compare to but as far as I can tail this one works really well and is worth the money and it is way cheaper than other brands for the same thing

Better than the uvBeast New V3 365nm Mini
I bought this and the uvBeast New V3 365nm Mini at the same time and compared them side-by-side. The uvBeast simply plus into a USB-C cable to charge, and that is great, but that’s the only thing it has on this one (which uses a clunky and cheap external charger). There is a bright spot at the center of the beam on this flashlight, but the falloff is more gradual than the uvBeast, and it’s far easier to inspect a large area with the Darkbeam flashlight. And the center spot in this one is just as bright as the other, so there’s no compromise in working distance or detailed inspection. One other thing: whoever first said “ignorance is bliss” must have owned a UV flashlight. I got mine to look for stains from the cat, which I readily found, but, friends, my reasonably clean house looks like a dumpster in UV light. Be prepared.
