Great for the value
You can’t beat it for the value. It got the job done. I would recommend if you’re on a budget if not get one with a magnet on the end or have a separate magnetic

worked perfect on my 2013 ford fusion
had to change the spark plugs and had lost my old socket. this worked great, but the plastic insert isn't held in by anything so a used a dab of CA glue to keep it in place.

Be aware of what this socket lacks before buying
First off, this is NOT a Performance Tool item, it is a Project Pro item. Both Performance Tool and Project Pro are brands under the Wilmar, but this socket is not the same socket as you get when buying the actual Performance Tool brand. It is unbranded and as generic as generic can get being stamped with only the size with nothing additional even laser etched. Whether or not this matters to you is mostly subjective with this level of tool. What I received was not as expected, but meets my needs just fine. The insert is some sort of synthetic rubber/plastic material. It feels more plastic than rubber but seems adequate to get the job done. The driving hex end accepts a 3/4 or 19mm wrench or socket and the square drive is 3/8 and does NOT have detent slots to work with the detent ball on your ratchet or extension to hold them together. This I see as problematic, you really need to have a secure connection between your socket and extension to allow you to get your plug socket back out of spark plug holes. Many modern tools even have extensions with swivels integrated to the socket to prevent that separation. If your spark plugs are in spark plug holes vs mounted on the surface of the head, use this socket with caution. For my needs, none of the above really even applies. I purchased this socket to use for modifying sockets for low profile (stubby) applications. I need to drill out the 3/8 square drive section to approx 1/2 inch, so if the detent slots did exist, they would get drilled out anyway. The insert gets removed, so its material makes no difference. The branding also does not matter as the socket is being cut and drilled, so the actual brand does not matter. There will be no warranty and any part numbers will not match what the “new” product is. This product is a great fit for me as the cost does not include paying for the features I do not need.Given how I use this product, I can say that it does work on spark plug removal. It is strong enough, the fit on the spark plug hex is good, etc. Those attributes will carry over also to the non modified socket. I would not however recommend this to anyone with a normal use. The lack of detent slots makes this a poor choice for most uses. You are far better off spending a few dollars more and getting one that at least has a hole drilled for the detent ball or slots to retain the ball. You could always drill a hole yourself, but this again is modifying the socket. This socket is the perfect example of a “get what you pay for” tool. For my needs this is 5 star product. Since it is not advertised for how I use it, I have to stick with 2 stars, although I am likely to purchase more. If you need or want something to get a job done as cheap as possible, this socket will do it. If it had some sort of accommodation for the detent ball, this would be a 3-4 star tool.

not the best tool but gets the job done
the rubber band inside does not hold the spark plug good and tight enough but if you are a DIY and you change your spark plugs probably once in 10 years, then this tool works good. Good value for the money.
