Okay so on my part this took an hour to do because I (stupidly) tried various times to pierce in different positions because I was not happy with the placement. Do not be like me lol. Next day took another hour for me to do because I wanted it to be higher up to where it could actually be seen. This is the result! The swelling lasted for about 2 weeks and now it’s in the phase where it’s healing but pretty fragile. The clamp hurts more than the needle, but the needle barely stung despite its sharpness although there was still blood. If possible, get someone to help you otherwise if you’re a perfectionist you may try this more than once. If you don’t have a high pain tolerate, rub your navel with ice, use numbing cream, or take some pain meds. Either I did the piercing too far up/far apart or it’s the anatomy of my tummy, but the jewelry (for me) was too small during swelling so I had to buy a longer bar, keep that in mind. This is a cheap and easy way to pierce your belly button but know the risk in not doing this professionally! Will buy again when this one heals and pierce the bottom of my belly button 🥰EDIT: I had this piercing for six months before I took it out. It kept getting caught in clothes and I kept bumping it into surfaces so the healing process wasn’t going good. I also really disliked the placement I made overall because the piercing looked tilted whenever I looked at it in the mirror. Honestly glad I removed it because at that rate it would’ve rejected. Now there’s a dark scar above my button and I have to wait probably up to 2 years before I can pierce it again, at which point I will be going to a professional to do 😭 some people have no problems after piercing themselves at home, and some do… and I was the some who did 😭 I did this completely on a whim too because I was in college and thought doing something completely not like me would be fun. Before you buy this kit and pierce yourself, make sure you’re COMPLETELY positive you won’t regret it because I do 🥲

quick and easy comes with all the supplies

I’m a plus size woman the ring is really small but I didn’t pierce too much skin don’t care for the belly button ring it’s just too bulky and too small but I feel like for something that small it shouldn’t be so bulky but it was easy if you are looking to do this I would recommend putting ice on your stomach to numb the area before piercing it for comfort I didn’t feel anything at all except for maybe pressure of the needle going through so for people who are scared to buy this because they’re scared of pain numbing it with ice helps I don’t care if I mess up I don’t care if I have to redo it I don’t care if people don’t think it looks good I’d rather mess up on my own then pay $65 to get it done professionally and then have it be messed up I think it’s worth the money

Okay I’m a far girl so I know my picture doesn’t do much justice but hear me out. The delivery was on time I got mine in the next day. Everything pictured was included in the package. I did used ice to numb top and bottom for about 5min. I did mark it but that part was super difficult to tell how low or high it needed to be. Once it was time to pierce I cleaned with the Alcohol swab provided and with the needle I started from the bottom up and I didn’t even notice the needle went through it was painless but it was rough to push through. Once through it was time for the jewelry. This is the only complaint I have. THE JEWELRY WAS TOO BIG FOR THE NEEDLE! So trying to thread it through was a challenge. I started to get sweaty lol. Good thing I used permanent marker to make my dots. Once I was able to see it kinda surfacing at the top omg it was super difficult to pop it through the top layer! It took both my husband and I to make it happen but we did it and I honestly think I should have went lower/more back on the bottom part. Ugh kinda want to try it again lol but overall it was a good experience and I’m not in any discomfort at all. I think it’s cute and great for the price. I would definitely buy this again. I would just find jewelry to match the needle size separately. I’m a happy customer overall :)

Really easy to use would buy again

While this kit has pretty much everything you need, the need size is not wide enough to fit the jewelry through so you essentially are using the needle to make a hole then have to force the jewelry through the hole you created when it should have fit inside the needle and slide in with ease.

Amazing everything was in package

I bought this to pierce my daughter's belly button. I wasn't sure if it would work because the price was a little sus and I'm not a professional, but it worked.Everything came as the description said it would and was individually packaged. The plastic clamp worked really well.The needle was not easy to get all of the way through the skin. That could have easily been error on my part. We pierced from the bottom up and I ended up meeting a lot of resistance with the needle halfway in. That was scary.The jewelry is okay... It's not our favorite look (the cubic zirconia) but it's not cheap feeling either.I was confused about how exactly the jewelry goes in while the needle goes out. Basically, you just line the top of the barbell with the end of the needle, and push it in while pulling the needle out.The top of the piercing, that screws onto the barbell, is very small and awkwardly shaped. It was a struggle to get that it while holding the piercing in.It turned out great. We both really like it. The process itself is a wild ride haha, but the product itself is legit. Would recommend.
