Absolutely the best stick for the price, maybe the best yaw stick available.
Just try it! Love the ultra-smooth stick and throttle action. I can't really describe the stick feeling, but it's pretty darn great. Also, the impressive build quality, hefty weight from metal base, and thick plastic make it worth the extra price. Plenty of buttons to map for the casual sim pilot. Mounting holes and rubber bumpers are a nice touch as well. I think this is a hidden gem in a world of overpriced peripherals. Definitely recommend.

High Quality flight stick for a reasonable price
This is one fine flight stick. The stick has roll, pitch and yaw axes, plenty of buttons on the base, and a throttle control: so the stick will work quite well all on its own. In my opinion the Gladiator MK II is superior to other sticks I've used such as the T16000M and the X-52. The build quality is much better, the buttons feel sturdy, but the real joy is the stick movement: it is precise and smooooth.VKB offers plenty of documentation and utilities on their website. The utilities allow you to calibrate, configure, program, and flash the stick.Though I've had the stick only a few days, I've used it quite a bit with x-Plane 11.41 flying a Cessna 172, a Quest Kodiak, a DA-62, and an Epic E1000. Setup in X-Plane was easy, though to use all the modes and the pinky switch in X-Plane I believe one would have to use one of VKB's utils.Note that there isn't a lot of 'stuff' at the top of the grip: a hat, a trigger, and a single large button. The stick is a Bf-109 replica , afterall. As a work-around I use the stick with a TWCS throttle. If you're looking for a quality flight stick, you may want to consider getting a VKB Gladiator MK II.

Very high quality
After buying and returning 3 thrustmasters a finally gave this one a shot. Top notch quality. For the price you won't find anything close. Unit comes with a throttle and way more buttons then I'll ever use but unfortunately being on the base makes them very dificult to use so I pair it with a warthog throttle. I use them for Elite: Dangerous and had no problems setting it up.the only issue I have is the hat is concaved on the top which bothered me in the beginning but I don't really notice anymore. The company makes even higher end sticks that are definitely in my future.Only wish the would come out with their own throttle.

Excellent at this price point
This is a very well made joystick, build quality is superior to any competitor I've used. There aren't many buttons on the stick itself, but the base is fully featured with buttons, shift key and throttle axis. I'd recommend this stick to anyone looking for an improvement over the T16000M but not yet ready to jump into the $300+ joystick market.

Smooth and Sturdy
This is a really nice joystick. The action is very smooth, and the entire unit feels very solid. I'm using it with space sims like Elite Dangerous and X4, and it works flawlessly. No drivers needed, either. Excellent product.
