Make Dice or store eggs in a smaller container
I carry my lunch to work and thought this might be fun to try as something different and goofy at lunch. I originally used large eggs, but then tried extra large eggs with no issues. I took a cotton swap, dabbed some food coloring on the tip and made eatable dice. Because the eggs are square, I can get more into a smaller rectangular container for storing. Don't expect the eggs to hold their exact shape after a day or so. They don't go completely oval but they don't stay perfectly square. The square shape holds for a hours, but then begins to look like a slightly smooshed marshmallows around the sides. I've cooked several and never had the yoke punch through. Might make a neat new way to serve deviled eggs or have for breakfast.

Really truly square!
This device is completely useless and yet so much fun! It makes them perfectly square and my family had a fun time processing square eggs lol Going to display some for Easter and surprise our guests! 100% worth the purchase!

A Hoot of an Item that Actually Works, Too!
I gave the egg cuber to a friend mine who loves kitchen gadget. In fact, I gave it to her without the packaging, making her guess what it was. Of course, she couldn't. After the reveal, we tried it out, and voila! It turns eggs into cubes. In addition to egg dice (the obvious), you can use it for when you're making hors d'oeuvres and want to make sharp impression by creating square slices of egg.Give it to a cook! Give it as a gag! Give it to yourself! The egg cuber never fails to get a reaction.

Missing half of my order.
I like the product itself...it seems well made. My issue is I only received one of the two I ordered. The funny thing is, there is a sticker on the side of the box that reads, “this is a set...do not separate”.

Cube With Caution, Top Gets Stuck
Short Review: It can cube an egg and get the job done, don't close it too tight (or tight at all).I bought two of these to make cubed/square devilled eggs for a small family party. Followed the directions and everything went fine until it was time to remove the egg from the egg press and I could not unscrew the lid. In my opinion, I didn't tighten it that much, but I chalked it up to user error. Eventually, I got it open and I went to make another couple of cubed eggs...The lid got stuck again. I tried everything.- Running the lid under hot water (but not for an exceptionally long time because then the egg would just get hot and gross)- Using a pot holder, t-shirt, etc. to get a better grip.- I was desperate enough to try using channel locks. Didn't work, probably would have broke the plastic before I got it open.- Had multiple people try opening it. No one was able to pull Excalibur from the stone.Only made about 3 eggs with these, needless to say I didn't bring cubed devilled eggs to that party. Still have one egg press in my kitchen, but I had to throw away the other away because there was no way that thing was going to open without breaking it. It would be so much easier to open if they made the exposed part of the top larger to get a better grip on it.
