Hiro Classic Costume, Medium (7-8)

This costume looks adorable on my little girl who is so excited to dress up as Hiro for Halloween. It fit great and is decentbquality for the price.

I bought this costume for my son for Halloween. It did come very quickly, but there were definitely some things I didn’t like. The costume feels very cheaply made, and doesn’t look like the picture. The mask has this clear part over the majority of the face making it very difficult to breathe. It has a TINY hole to allow you to breathe, but it isn’t enough. So, I ended up cutting out the clear part so my could actually breath while wearing the mask. When it comes to the costume itself, it just isn’t what was shown in the picture. I thought the upper mart of it would be thinker for the “muscles,” but it’s just flat. If I had to order again, I probably wouldn’t go with this one.

Costume fit my short 7 year old quite well. The velcro knee pads don't stay in place, but the shoulder ones do. The only reason I would downgrade this from 5 stars is that the mask. The "airhole" for the kid to breathe through is too small so the mask fogs up. We cut out the clear plastic and then it was great for my son to wear.

So I purchased this costume for my 4 year old daughter. She loves Big Hero 6. When the package arrived, it was missing the mask. We sent it back and the second package they sent was missing the pads that go to the costume. I mean come on really? My daughter was impatient and dissapointed to have to wait for another package and frankly so was I. Especially having missing pieces to each of the two packages. It was a hassle twice. Good costume once we had all the "parts". I almost gave the seller 2 stars because of all the missing items but once we had the complete costume it worked out. My daughter is a 6x and we ordered the 7/8 size. It fits as I expected, a little big but I think the smaller size would have looked better. Overall cute costume worth the money once all the problems were worked out.

Quality of material not great for the price and, most concerning, the see-through plastic attached to the mask makes breathing impossible to the point of suffocation, a real hazard!! I had to carve out the see-through plastic before I gave it to my 6-year old to wear for Halloween. Not safe at all.
