UPDATE OVER A YEAR LATER...I've had this for well over a year now, and my initial review (below) stands true. Durability is important, so I wanted my review to include this. My Lasko fan has been running most of the time in the last year, summer, winter, spring, fall. No issues, no fails. Still a fantastic fan. Still very quiet. The remote is still operational. The remote works on other fans, also (bonus). Still in love with this fan! Hope this helps.I've only had this for a few days, but I am in love with it already. Needed this air-mover for a living room about 20 ft by 14 ft. On the lowest setting, I can feel a nice soft breeze from at least 12 ft away. Nice. It is very quiet, and not even noticeable while watching TV. I will admit I bought this mostly for my dogs. They are furry (duh), and really seem to enjoy the cooling of the fans.It's a secondary fan. I bought a (more expensive) Vornado tower fan 6 years ago to help move the air conditioner air from the kitchen to the living room. It is still running great, but does not oscillate, and the remote that came with it had a piece missing, so I've never used that remote.This Lasko fan has a sturdy feeling remote, and I love it when I am being a couch potato. Unfortunately, that is way too often. At least I have my dog fan.The base, as with my other tower fan, is just a plastic disk, and can wobble a bit on carpet. I try to keep the fans out of the way of the crazy cats flying around, and wild dog wagging tails, because stuff gets knocked over by these creatures a lot. However, if you have creatures (cats, dogs, human kids), keep it out of their path of terror, it should be ok.The very low noise is important. I turned it on high to check, and it was not much noisier than the low setting.So far, after only a few days, I like this fan much better than the Vornado. In my experience, the oscillating feature in fans is the first thing to fail. No idea why that happens. I have high hopes for this one.I don't use the sleep/timer mode. If I sleep in the living room, I need it on all the time.Plus it looks nice also (until it gets fur stuck all over it). Take care, be safe!

Purchased June 2022; continues to work perfectly today. Ordered a second this month (June 2024). Intend to order a third. Excellent features and cooling capability. Cuts down on utility costs when it's warm and you don't want to run air conditioning for an entire first or second floor of the house. Not completely silent, but what fan really is? Serves as low white noise during sleep; doesn't interfere with the TV or music in other areas of the house.

My old-school oscillating blade fan had been used so much, it finally just locked up. No amount of cleaning, liberal application of WD-40 and hand-spinning the blades like an old prop plane just could not get that fan to kick over. I finally had to admit defeat and get a new fan.I had heard about tower fans (so-called "bladeless" fans), and figured so long as I had to get a replacement, I might as well see if they're worth all the hype. I live in a small high-rise apartment, and while it's not huge in terms of square feet, the air conditioner is hard-pressed to keep the space comfortable during the dog days of Summer.I didn't want to go crazy so far as my budget in case my selection was a bust, but neither did I want to skimp on features. Doing a bit of online detective work, a number of internet consumer product recommendation sites placed this model high on their lists for it's nice balance of value and performance.The very first time I turned it on, I immediately felt the difference in my living room (where I spend most of my time at home.) Circulating that air from the AC easily brought the temperature down to very comfortable (and actually at times, chilly) levels. Once the space was acclimated to where I wanted it, I was able to turn the fan on low and it maintains the temperature perfectly. Every once in a while, I'll go ahead and turn it back on high and turn the ionizer on for an hour or so to freshen up the room and move the air around a bit to keep it from getting stale, and it absolutely works like a charm.It runs very quietly, especially on low. I have to remind myself that it's on usually. On high, you know it's on but it's not overly loud at all, and I don't have to, for instance, turn up the TV to overcome the "jet engine whine" of a traditional fan.So pleased with this, I'm considering a second one for the bedroom. During the Summers I seldom spend time in there because frankly the AC doesn't really cool it down sufficiently to be comfortable at night. But I suspect if I kept the one moving the air in the living room and had the second fan drawing air near the entrance to the bedroom it may just pull in enough conditioned air to make it more bearable.I haven't even used the sleep feature, I'm sure it works fine, but I keep mine running on low to maintain the comfort of my room. All the other features work as advertised, and I'm overall delighted with this purchase.

Je viens de le recevoir, il est magnifique sobre ne déguisée pas le décor. Ça puissance est convenable pour 3 vitesses e l'air projeté n'est pas agressif. Le système ions semble refroidir l'air mais pour l'instant je ne peux en dire plus, le climat n est pas très chaud. Donc, difficile à évaluer. Dans l'ensemble, c'est parfait !

This is a perfect room fan. It’s quiet and light weight enough to move to another room.Cons - it seems it only comes in black. I wish it also came in white.

This is the iPhone of fans, handsome looking and worth the money spent.It is very quiet, and the air flow is smooth and strong.One of my buying criteria was getting one with least number of LED lights, none if possible, as they are irritating to me in the night, and not good for the eyes either. This fan still has some LED lights but are small in size and not too bright.Its only been a few months, but over the short term so far, it has been an excellent buy (so far).

I have had this product for 4 years. The cord is long enough to place the fan anywhere in my room which is the size of a studio apartment. You will need to do maintenance such as buying an air duster can and blowing the dust out from inside of the fan every 3-6 months. Good quality.
