French for Beginners

This book is used in our conversational French class. I find it very helpful and it’s very easy to follow and understand. It’s fun!

I use this as the textbook for my beginning French class for Seniors. It works great. It seems to be easy for them to understand and they definitely seem to enjoy using the book. There is an earlier version of this textbook, under the same name. It varies little from the edition that I am using with my Seniors, and actualIy one or more of my students have this edition. It works great and lines up almost perfectly with the newer texts. In fact I chose this earlier edition in hardcover as my teacher's copy simply because it was hardcover and therefore more durable over time and usage,

It is a good book but seems a little expensive.

I am really enjoying this book. Especailly the flash cards and the sticker book.Everyone in class is jealous of my book because we all ordered on-line at amazon.com at the same time and all they got was a little flat stapled book and I hit the jackpot !! A bientot !
