Great, affordable chain
As a cycling enthusiast, I’m always in need of chain replacing. These SRAM chains are affordable and work great. They’re easily installed with the quick link, and also removed if you have the appropriate quick link remover tool (worth getting!). Shifting is great and lasts many miles. No complaints.

Best Chain
I've used SRAM after I got tired of breaking chains and getting the obligatory kick in the nuts. Its the one chain I never broke. I broke Campagnolo and Shimano. When you are climbing a hill and pushing hard; left-right-left-right-left-right, rocking the handlebars hard, there is a lot of force on the chain. If that chain gives way, what happens? Yep. That happens, right when your heart rate is about 200 bpm. Never buying that chain again. I've broken stems too, but that is another issue. SRAM never let me down. I've used SRAM on Campangnolo components. I've used SRAM chains on Shimano components. I've uses chains SRAM on SRAM components. I change my chain every 2000 miles and have had many chains. SRAM has never left me rolling on the side of the road.

SRAM 260gr down to 242gr VS 216gr on my KMC
My road bike started having shifting problems during my last ride - I was lucky the chain didn’t brake during the ride.I got home and discovered a damaged link on the chain (KMC X11SL).I was going to order the same chain but I decided to pick a more resistant chain, a heavier SRAM chain to match my SRAM Red shifters.I ended up trimming the SRAM chain to match the length on the KMC, my bike is now 26gr heavier lol.I will deduct stars if the chain lets me down.

Easily 1000 miles on this and it hasn't worn past 0.05%
Great chains. This is my second chain and I've had zero problems with this on a Shimano 105 5700 groupset.I would recommend installing this and then rubbing most of the factory oil off with a rag before going on a ride because it comes coated in gummy oil, which just attracts dirt like no other. I usually install the chain, clean off most of the oil from the plates and rollers, then apply Boeshield T9 chain lube before riding and after around every 200 miles.Works really well for me as long as you keep it clean and dry. Wet chains are not your friend!

and at half the price - a better value for our money
This ain't no lie - just about three weeks ago I purchased a top-of-the-line KMC 11 speed chain, the X11SL, and I swear that this PC1130 is smoother from the box, and smoother 3rd-ride in.I don't have a doubt that the X11SL should be lighter, and I'm leaning on the X11SL shifting faster/smoother, but as far as watts used, and smoothness of the application over a 45 mile, a 35 mile, and today's 51 mile rides after having used the X11SL for the last three weeks... the PC1130 is smoother, and at half the price - a better value for our money. Why did I purchase the PC1130? Well, let me tell you something else about the KMC X11SL - its rollers aren't set in the chain as well, so when I did undo the quick-link to clean the chain, both of the rollers fell out. One of them rolled or bounced off into the dirt, so ... desperately wanting to ride this Thanksgiving weekend, within one day I ordered this chain as a backup in case I wasn't able to find the roller. KMC also refused to send out a single roller, so now my expensive chain is out of commission.

Great chain, what else can I say?
Great chain. Perfect balance between cost and performance. I am not a weight weenie, so I do not need a higher cost SRAM chain, I only need a SRAM chain that works. I made a mistake of putting on a middle of the lineup KMC chain on my bike. Chain worked like a chain would, until about 100 or so miles in when it snapped on me and fell off my bike completely on a downhill run in a really rocky section that required pedalling here and there, but a ton of rock hopping that I didnt realize it was gone until I needed more speed. So far (knock on wood) I have never had a failure with a SRAM chain - 9spd, 10spd, or an 11spd. And I only buy the middle zone chains as stated before, I do not need the ultra light stuff. Ill nver ride Shimano chains, my 2x10 XT bike has a SRAM chain on it and always will.

Solid!
The Sram PC-1130 chain is a solid performer that wears reasonably well, shifts good with Shimano components, and is moderately priced.
