This nicely matches the leather chair I have in my den, the dark brown leather looks very refined and sophisticated. And right out of the box it was so easy to set up, just align the legs and screw in the bolts with the provided Allen wrench (and they are longer than average bolts, so it shouldn't work loose with normal use). The lid lifts to reveal plenty of storage space, and it's comfortable and at the perfect height for resting your legs on while relaxing and watching a movie.

One of my favorite Amazon purchases. I love blankets and get them all the time as gifts or if I find a good deal and needed more space for storage. Looks good in the living room while serving a purpose so functionality is 10/10. Soft leather but hasn’t scratched or anything, amazing quality and true to measurement. So glad I took the chance and bought!! I went with a used option to save a few bucks and got lucky that it came in the original packing with all the parts :) I would say it holds 5-6 blankets depending on thickness and size of blanket. Mine currently has 4 smaller blankets and two thicker blankets right now

The construction of the product (material) looks great but the legs twist on and are loose and unstable. A few of them do not sit at 90 degree angles, which causes them to "bend" when you scoot the piece to reposition it in the room. This is disappointing. The craftsmanship is good with material inside and outside of the piece and the storage area is proportionate to the size of the piece. The hinges appeared sound at delivery but I anticipate may not hold up after years of use because the structure is cheap. It's a good purchase for my needs (private practice) to keep games and general therapy supplies in.

It's perfect. Fits great with our sectional. Good quality, soft top that doesn't dent when putting your feet up. Don't know why it says it is a frequently returned item. Got a great price too!

It’s soft! It also functions as extra seating. Looks amazing! And my kiddo often opens it and used it for her blankets. It’s super nice to hide blankets and things in the living room but also very comfortable.

First off, for price point, this is an exceptional buy for this level of Chinese craftsmanship. Faux leather is highly durable, hinge assembly is well made (easy, soft open/close), storage space is ample and assembly was a breeze. Plus, not many options for low profile, semi-modern, storage ottomans. If you have a low profile couch (15-17 inches high), finding inexpensive storage ottomans at or below 17 inches high is difficult, trust me. This ottoman is a great find to work with low profile couches at only 16.5 inches high.Second, not sure if the photographer for the Light Brown product imagery had a green/yellow filter over the lens, but in absolutely no way does that represent the color. Best described as Saddle/Tan Brown with hints of darker areas close to Chestnut Brown. The legs are Cherry Walnut, a light reddish brown. Really need to update those product images.Third, as with any of the fine pieces of Chinese furniture imported to the US, probably 20-30% of the ottomans shipped over will have some kind of flaw, a rip, a tear, broken hinge, etc. Take the chance, return/exchange if you receive one of the unlucky pieces, and enjoy a great, inexpensive, good quality piece of furniture from our friends overseas!

Looks great - but the frame is missing support in key areas, you wouldnt want people to sit on this for example, it isn't designed to withstand that, as well the internal bottom won't take any kind of weight. I am going to return it, otherwise it would just get destroyed in days or weeks here with a 14yo and even just if a guest were to sit on it. At this price point for a faux leather ottoman I expected somethign a bit more sturdy.

My son always wanted me to get an ottoman for the living room, but they are so very expensive. He came across this one on Amazon and I decided to give it a shot. It fits my living room perfectly it matches my leather furniture, and it holds a couple blankets. I don’t allow people to sit on it because I don’t think it can hold the weight. The lead seems a little clumsy, but it is designed as an ottoman not as a chair so I think that’s OK.
