Works great

I was amazed the first time l tried to enter the relearn mode. After all the steps l made, that horn report was a surprise. After trying to reset/relearn the first wheel, front left, without a response, l took into account that wheels had been rotated. Thus, l tried the left rear and had success. Next, on to the right rear, success again. However, no responses on either front wheels. Counterclockwise instead of clockwise. Dead batteries caused the results for the front wheels. Be sure to point the relearn tool close to the valve for best results. New, replacement monitors are needed for the front wheels. Purchasing the Ford OER monitor is required to have the system work properly. After market units are not compatible.jrv

Worked exactly as advertised! I used this on a 2011 Ford F150 Raptor after swapping out the original wheels for an aftermarket set. Many videos on YouTube showing the process using this tool. Worth every cent to get rid of that annoying dash light.

I am not sure why it didn't work, but it didn't.

Just got it and tried the button with no response. Even popped it open to make sure there was a battery so thought it was just a dead unit. Bought this to even see if the marketplace wheels I just bought had sensors in them. Decided to go ahead and try the relearn process and hoped that maybe just the LED wasn't working. After pressing the button with no response got frustrated and really bared down on the button. The LED came on the the horn honked instantly. Rear wheels took several attempts and my thumb was about to give out but they all worked.

The product worked great. I wish that they would have sent instructions for the relearning procedure for the vehicle. In any event, this product saved me $147. One of the ripoff tire places in Lufkin, TX was going to charge me $160 to relearn 4 tires. Sam's Club did not have the required tool to relearn the TPMS when they installed the supposedly preprogrammed sensors that I had purchased and had them put on.

I ordered new rims and tires and went to the local Ford dealer. After almost 40 minutes, gentleman said I would need to schedule an appointment to have the truck reprogrammed for after market frequencies. He went around each rim multiple times , starting at the stem (where it should be) trying to find it.I saw a video on YouTube where someone did it at the stem but on the tire, instead of the rim. This programmed each tire, very first try.

This tool did what Walmart tire installers could not do. I had 4 new aftermarket sensors installed. It took some finesse but it's possible the new sensors I was programming were a bit stubborn. I had better luck holding the tool against the sidewall by the valve. On one tire I had to try pointing different sides of the tool toward the valve til I got a horn beep but with patience I got all 4 aftermarket sensors programmed as needed. Well worth the money. Just be patient if it does not work first try.
