This white ink pen will be used to write on darker colored items such as tape, folders, etc. It is very readable on these items.

As anyone who scrapbooks, does mixed media, graphic arts, or any other artistic, creative outlet knows, finding a good white pen is horrible. A white pen that consistently works, lays down an even line, is bright white, and doesn't skip is truly harder to find than Big Foot. Not anymore, though!I came across these white pens several years ago when I was on a quest to find a decent white pen. I literally bought EVERY white pen I could locate - whether that was locally, or online. If I had heard of one residing on the moon, I would have been after that! I purchased many, many white pens. There were similar issues with every single pen. I was beyond frustrated - I was downright angry. I had spent years looking for a decent white pen, but it appeared none existed. UNTIL I FOUND THIS ONE.The ink flow is smooth and nice - it's a great feeling to write with these pens. The line is relatively thick, not micro-thin like some pens. You are able to color in a small section with this pen - and it won't look splotchy and "line-y". It almost jumps off dark paper, especially black. It is exceptional for doodling, outlining, highlighting, and Zentangling. You truly just can't get any better than these.And the price? Ahhhh I usually buy 3 pens at a time...and the total is the same amount as what I spent on these TWELVE. To be honest, I thought the pricing must be a mistake - and I was expecting Amazon to correct the issue before sending the pens out. I thought I would either receive 2-4 pens, or they would charge my card a whole lot more. Turns out that neither happened - I got a full box of 12 pens, for not a penny more than advertised. I am still in shock!Bottom Line: If you want an excellent, top of the line, incredible white pen, look no further. You have just hit Pen Nirvana!

Not as good as Milky gel pens but ok. I had trouble getting it to flow on magazine paper, but otherwise ok.

You know I bought this pen because I really need a White pen for drawers and stuff, but I would never expect it to come with a Candy been two years already, and still can’t forget about the Candy! you know I can’t remember what kind it was but it was good 😭

This pen makes it easy to add white details to watercolor painting. Very happy with it.

I confess I neglect writing reviews of 99% of products I purchase through Amazon. The Sanford Uni-Ball Gel Impact Pen is too great of a find not to post about it. My daughter is in a gifted art class that does a variety of individual projects. She is currently doing an abstract background (black) with a basic foreground (white scroll work) on hot press . I am not an artist so please forgive my poor descriptions. When she was painting on details of scrolls in white on top of the black watercolor, she struggled to find anything with a fine tip that didn't bleed, smudge, run or damage watercolor layer. We tried different brushes & paints, fine & ultra fine tipped paint pens in different brands, liquid paper in a pen with a metal tip & many of the various brands of white pens & markers my mother has in scrapbook inventory. NOTHING was as crisp & smooth as this pen. I am so pleased that I am now ordering more of these in white & other ink colors to have on hand for her. Hope this review helps you in you!

I was a little hesitant as I read the review about only getting one. Nevertheless, I ordered and got twelve. They work very well at covering mistakes on sketches (though still need to do a bit of photoshop after scanning in). I also tested them out on colored paper stock and they work very well.At the same time I ordered this, I got two other brands of the same type of pen. This was by far the best. In fact one other pen (Pentel) was total dud--which might be bad luck, but still, quality control.Anyway--good white pen.Update: So, I ordered these again, to give to some friends and got just two. Wrote to seller, got refund and they said they were changing listing. Still even two for $9 (and no trip to the store) is a decent deal. Maybe there are better deals elsewhere, but the pen itself is still great.

Had to take tip off and blow into the other side the cartridge to get any ink to go through. I had to pull it apart will pliers which is not something you should have to do with any pen. I wouldn’t recommend.
