ROCKETBOOKSmart Notebook Folio Cover - Mars Sand Tan For Executive A5 , Recyclable, Biodegradable, Pen Holder, Magnetic Clasp, Inner Storage

I bought this environmentally friendly cover for my new Rocket book and paid more than I would have normally because of its green credentials and the fact that the only other cover I could find was made of moleskin... Ughh... Another reason I chose this was the great reviews it had. God knows why. For almost forty quid I was expecting a high quality product but was very disappointed with this and am thinking of returning it if I can find another option to protect my smart book. First of all it's far too expensive for what it is, which is basically a card cover with felt edging. I've no idea why the reviews are so high, I can only think that people are either easily pleased or want to like it with its green credentials. I wish I did. The cover looks quite stylish but was marked when I received it. The card pen holder doesn't look like it will stand up to being used frequently and the pocket sections really don't look too strong. I quite like the fact it has a magnetic clasp and I desperately want to be able to give this a good review but in all honesty, apart from the overall look of it, I'm sad to say I can't. Definitely way overpriced. May be OK for 15 quid at most but not 40. Big thumbs down I'm afraid.

I ordered this folder to keep my rocket book fusion, pen and wipe in one place. I should have read the reviews as they are very accurate. The notebook fits nicely and I could store a few cards in the slots if I needed to but that's about it. If you try to put the pen in the holder to the right of the book, the flap then doesn't lie flat when you close the folder. There are 2 little round magnets in each corner of the flap and because the folder is pushed up by the pen, the flap gapes open in the middle or only sticks down on one side. There is no pocket or slot in the flap to store the wipe on the executive version as appears to be shown in the picture, can't speak for the A4 version. The wipe is too large for the folder and stuffing it in the left hand side space (underneath the card slots) results in the folder gaping open further. The whole thing feels like flimsy cardboard, the fabric flap is stuck down with double sided sticky tape and while I haven't had it for very long, I don't think it that it will last a year. I think that this could have been thought out a little bit better, maybe a couple more pen slots, a dedicated pocket for the wipe, stronger magnet the whole length of the flap, a greater folder depth so that the wipe and pen/s fit in properly and a pocket for paper or post-its rather than cards (who keeps cards in their notebook folder anyway?). All in all, I think I would be able to find a better executive folder for half the price and feel that this is not money well spent.

I bought one of the Rocketbook Folio Covers from Amazon Warehouse as it seems to be sold out everywhere, as soon as I opened it I quickly realised why it is available through Amazon Warehouse. The case is simply terrible quality and feels VERY cheap (looks like it’s made from cardboard), this might appeal to the eco-friendly crowd but as someone looking for a quality, reliable cover for my Rocketbook to help protect it from day-to-day travel and use this unfortunately isn’t it. I’d advise looking elsewhere as there is no way this cover is worth the hefty price tag that it currently retails for.

I was in two minds on whether to send this back or not because I love my Rocketbook but wanted something nicer to have it in for when I meet clients etc.Now this folio looks great but doesn't quite feel it and for the price I think it's perhaps a bit poor. As it's made from recycled card you get the impression that its going to get easily wrecked so I am still treating it with kid gloves.

Got given a Rocketbook for Christmas and wanted a cover to make sure I kept the pen and cloth together. I love this one! I’m a massive fan of the fact the whole thing is recyclable and it’s made from eco friendly materials. I don’t think it looks cheap and although it has been made from cardboard, it’s not flimsy and you can wipe it clean so it is waterproof to a degree- I wouldn’t submerge it but then who would do that to anything? It will be perfect for carrying everything when I go out and has card slots included. Really fab product.I’m not sure why it has been given poor review (particularly as one was based on the fact it couldn’t be returned easily by UPS which isn’t related to the product...). Really great with the Rocketbook :)

Rather underwhelming for a £25 cover. Looks cheap, tacky as if it is made from some sort of felt or underlay. The cover doesn't close and clasp well when you have a pen in the pen holder, and the pen doesn't fit easily in the pen holder - basic design errors for something allegedly tailor made for the Rocketbook. The faults aren't serious enough to ask for a refund and I will use it, but I'd save your money.

The design is nice, but the quality is poor and it's not very practical for it's purpose.The material feels cheap overall, but this does make it light-weight which is a positive.My main disappointment with the folio, is that it's flimsy. If you're trying to write in your Rocket Book and you're not on a hard, flat surface, you are going to struggle to write straight. The folio wobbles and bends under light pressure.My other disappointment is that it looks fine on arrival, but place a Frixion pen in the holder and it warps the front out of shape. There are two magnets, one at the top and another at the bottom, one more in the middle would have prevented this.For the price I am really disappointed in the product. I expected much better given how good the Rocket Books are.

The cover is great, the concept is great but that’s applying only if you place inside just the notebook. If you dare to add a pen... well ... is just a good concept
