The design attempt is brilliant and I would have given this 5 stars if the selfie stick would have lasted more than 2 weeks. Poor quality construction will leave you disappointed therefore only 2 stars, though 1 star is warranted since it is now useless in its broken condition. And, there is no customer support to replace damaged or broken parts. There isn't even a web site where you can contact someone to purchase replacement parts or discuss issue with a live person. Beware of the three deficient design issues:1. The twist lock feature of the extendable selfie stick will sometimes twist past the point of locking or will fail to hold an extended camera or phone and then come crashing back into the handle. If you aren't careful you WILL/MAY drop your camera due to this unexpected occurrence.2. The remote Bluetooth push button sometimes syncs and sometime doesn't sync, and at the most inopportune times. Disappointing.3. The adjustable phone clip broke after 2 weeks rendering the entire assembly now useless since I can't connect a phone to this stick and can't find a replacement part without having to repurchase an entire new selfie stick. The clipping device will not work for a iPhone 6S but will work for Samsung. The web site states that width can adjust from 55-75 mm, but the user manual states that with will fit 55mm to 80 mm. This is a conflict obviously. The width of an iPhone 6S is 77 mm and with a protective cover it is 80 mm. Either way the clip is difficult to extend beyond 75 mm. It worked best for my Samsung which is 73 mm wide. After two weeks the retaining bracket, cheap plastic and minimal thickness, broke while holding the phone. I was fortunate that I didn't have the selfie stick extended otherwise I may have broken or lost my phone. I learned my lesson - you get what you pay for so spend a little more and buy a quality selfie stick that won't drop you phone on the ground or someplace worse.

My package delivered just in time for my cross-country road trip for a move from Oregon to New York. I was really excited to have this product to use for some great photos. Imagine my extreme disappointment when I used for half of one day at Yellowstone National Park, day 2/7 of my road trip and it broke on me OUT OF NOWHERE. I didn't drop it, I have no idea what happened. But there was a crack in the base of what holds my phone on the stick, and it completely broke off and is now useless to me. Loved the product for the 3 hours I got to use it and so sad that I don't have it for the remainder of my trip. Super disappointed. I want to get a new one, but not sure if I just got unlucky or if this is typical for the product.

DO NOT BUY! I've gone through two of these now. The spring in the clamp breaks within a few uses with my iphone 6s plus. The first time I used the contact form on Foneso's website to see if they could just send me a replacement clamp. When they didn't respond I went through the return process with amazon. I really liked this tripod so I decided to order another one hoping the first was just a flaw, the 2nd one did the same exact thing.

I will start by saying I love this product, it's sturdy and gets the job I need it to done. That said I will nit pick a bit. I bought this product about a year ago, and over the time (or heavy weekly use) the rubber/plastic holder broke down over time & use. The tightener loosened a bit over time as well. To be fair it was expected with a product for this price point, and with my extremely heavy usage. After a third winged arm on the phone holder area, I had to finally replace it. One of the biggest reasons I re-bought this product, is because it's so sturdy. It has a metal tripod that keeps the whole unit very sturdy & didnt seem to break down. The actual stick is a sturdy plastic, and didnt seem to get stuck when making it extend, even with heavy use. I wish the holder area would twist to allow for vertical pictures, but other than that it's sturdy and i dont worry about my phone/webcam getting damaged from tilting over. It also comes with a shutter button, which is also made sturdier than normal bluetooth devices I've had. I use a Pixel 2 with a case & it fits my phone, but the shutter button will not work for videos on snapchat, it works however with snap photos and all built in camera pictures/videos

I have been searching for a bluetooth remote (that came with a tripod, ideally) that would work to take video on an Android phone. It seems to just not exist anywhere, as most remotes only have 1 shutter button and not a button for photos and a separate button for videos (dumb). So, my workaround is to download a separate video app (I tried Open Camera) and then once you're in the app, you can use this remote to start and stop the video and not worry about accidentally taking photos when you only want to take videos. I tested this remote at my dance class, and it worked from about 30 feet away. I'm excited to try it out outside to see how far away I can get, but I was limited by the size of my dance studio. I'm bringing this to Europe next week, so I might have to update my review once I've used the tripod/selfie stick in action.

I bought this specifically for the tripod function. I cannot even get the tripod screwed into the bottom messages. I would not recommend if you need the tripod.

I was so excited to get this item and the first time out of the box the part that holds the phone, there must be spring inside that is broke because it will not hold my phone firmly in it, it keeps falling out. Was of money for me.
