Doesn’t come with connector
Product took a little long then expected to arrive, but all and all well made. Just a heads up these don’t come with a connector end, it has to be bought separately and only come in white for what I could find, so ended up painting the connector to match. You can use the connector or pop out one of the outlets in track to give your room to connect. These are not easy to install and won’t Recommend DIY on this product, installed many of these and it’s not easy.

Installation is not THAT difficult.
I'm not sure what others are talking about with this being some sort of grueling torture of an installation. I used the center knock out to feed 12/2 wire in via an NM cable connector and tied the wires into the loose pigtails on the end opposite the USB outlet. There are cableways to snap your feed wire into on each outlet so they won't flop around and make putting the two halves back together difficult and all I had to buy was a bag of small push connectors because there's not really room for wire nuts.My only gripes are that 1) the packaging was terrible. The box was big enough to probably hold 10 of these strips and there was no padding in it at all, 2) There is a loose pigtail at both ends and the instructions do not tell you what to do with the end you aren't using. I discovered that the outlets come apart easily (they snap together) and cut the wire off inside the last outlet so that live wires wouldn't be exposed inside the housing, and 3) the instructions mention a grounding clip that is supposed to be supplied with the USB strips that was not included and it wasn't really clear what it did or why it would be required.Overall, I like it. Wasn't that hard to install, gives me a lot of outlets in the seating area of my kitchen island.

Outlet options
This is a great way to add outlets on shelving in a large pantry

Very poor design, not safe, hard to install.
Very poorly built. about 1/2" thick no room for wire nuts. Built to add more bars but wires are just bare wires and little room for wire nuts to protect the circuit, Very hard to snap together due to lack of space for wires. mine bent when trying to put together. Ended up pitching it out. Not safe. Circuit brake tripped, I removed due to saftey issues.

Must have
Plug mold under the kitchen cabinets is an absolute must have. My clients are always satisfied with this product. It's not the easiest thing to install you should be fairly handy with electric to attempt. You may need a j box we always manage to get everything tucked neatly inside but takes some effort be prepared to be frustrated. When you're finished it will look worth your time

Clean low profile look.
May take a bit of time if you're not connecting out an end to a junction box.I actually disconnected the USB outlets from the Wago lever connectors, cut the hot and neutral wires on the last outlet and connected the USB outlets there, then ran the ground wire from that USB end. Then extended the hot and neutral leads from the opposite end via straight connectors, to meet in the middle. None of the knockouts in the base plate were in a usable location for me, so I had to drill a new hole for an armored cable connector. You have to take your time and get the wires routed inside correctly and make the connections, which can be a bit tedious because there is very little space. Buy some push on or Wago lever connectors. There is just not enough room for wire nuts and bending two 12 gage wires into that small space is a bit tough. Overall, the end result looks great, compact/sleek. Just know installation will not a 10 minute plug-n-play unless your connecting out the end to a suitable box.If that's not the case and you don't understand basic electrical connections, this may not be a DIY product.

Electrician found it hard to install
The electrician spent a couple of hours installing this. The housing for connecting the wiring is way too small. There should have been leads or a better endcap (in black -- the shorter white ones have them) to fish the wires through to connect it to the junction box. I thought this was expensive at $100+, but it cost me way more than that to have it installed. The electrician was persistent and got the job done, and now I absolutely love using it!!! The 2 USB ports on the end are especially useful! Please, please make it easier for electricians to install!

Nice look, but maybe missing parts.
We installed a new tile backsplash in our kitchen and chose to use these plug molds under the cabinets to eliminate standard wall outlets cut into the new tile. The look is fantastic!Out of the two 5ft strips ordered, one box came with connectors and end caps and the other did not. As others have mentioned, the overall installation process was tedious, but I’d still rate our satisfaction as 4 stars because the finished results were just what we were looking for.
