I like these because they are thicker than the cheap blades that you’ll find in your average $1.99 box cutters you’ll grab in the discount bin.Watch out because these blades are sharp, nearly razor blade sharp! Seriously, wear a good work glove when you’re handling these. I gave myself a good nick in the hand that bled some but that’s my fault.What I like most is that these blades are thick! Thicker means safer. A thick blade will cut the first time so it’s easier to work with, safer because it will cut better and it will last longer. The right tool for the job!Stands up well to slicing up boxes for recycling, etc. Perfect size. Fits all the cheap box cutters that I’ve bought before. I immediately replaced every single blade with one of these.Actually there was one box cutter that had a really narrow opening but that was easy to fix. Now I don’t dread getting out a lame dull box cutter.Oh and be sure to wipe off the thin film of protective oil (prevents rusting) before using these.

I ordered these as replacements back in October and just used the first one. It didn't cut through a plastic bag. I will not buy these again. I gave it a 3 because it was delivered on time.
