I had heard a lot about the DockATot from some mother friends as I was pregnant. After seeing and researching what the item was about, I saved my money and splurged for it.My infant loves this thing. Sure, it wasn't a MIRACLE product, that when I lay him down to sleep in it he would knock out right away (he's a baby for God's sake, so it takes some time), but he does sleep in this thing 99% of the time if we're not out and about.We initially started with it nestled in between me and my partner, straight from the hospital. Of course, baby wasn't used to being outside the womb so he would just cry all night. But, no matter what, we lay him down to sleep in the DockATot when it was time to sleep. Eventually, as my partner was no help in the middle of the night when newborn was wailing (eye roll!), I moved him next to me, and against the wall. This proved so convenient for middle-of-the-night waking and nursing. Baby is so accessible. I just sit up, pick him up, nurse or comfort, then lay him back in the DockATot next to me. As he got older, my partner and I wanted more room in the bed, so we put the DockATot in a bassinet next to our bed and of course we shuffled sleeping positions so I could be next to baby.We started formally sleep training around 3 months. We would our typical bedtime routine -- bath, feed, toss him in sleepsack (Nested Bean), read story, then down for bed in the DockATot. He is 5 months old now and is napping and sleeping in the DockATot wonderfully. He knows once I lay him in there it is time to sleep. Sure he has his good days and his bad days, one night he'll go down like a rock and other nights he will be more difficult but I am seriously so happy I have had this product to help my baby at least feel a little secure when he goes to sleep. I think the last time I visited the website, they improved the product so it is actually recommended for cosleeping and the bumpers are breathable. I know I heard rumors that the DockATot was terrible and you shouldn't buy it.. BUT I have to say I will recommend this to all my girl friends when they get pregnant!!!!!My son is a little on the smaller size, 4th percentile, and he's 5 months about 14 pounds, still fits in the DockATot. We'll see how much use we get out of this moving forward. Love love love this product.

I waffled on buying this for weeks. I mean it’s so bougie, right? Almost $200 for a lil cushion thing?? I finally bit the bullet though because our little nugget wouldn’t sleep flat which meant we had to hold her or have her in the swing and I wanted to get her comfortable sleeping on her back so we could get her into her bassinet/crib.Y’all.It’s magical. She actually stays asleep.And YES I am well aware that it is not considered safe for sleep, but you know what? Neither are baby swings or slings or carriers or car seats and we practice safe sleep as thoroughly as possible by making sure her face is clear of all blankets and that she is propped at a slight angle so she can’t roll and squish her face against anything.What I like: there is a flattened piece to the base and it’s firm enough that it helps our punkin adapt to the firmness of her crib.The bumpers are firm as well, which is why I didn’t go with any of the other dockAtot “style” cushions- they boast about how soft they were. Softness isn’t ideal with a little one!The bottom unbuckles so as she grows it will still work for her.It’s cute 🤷🏻‍♀️ there’s no reason it shouldn’t look good!The case it comes with is perfect for travel!The cushion has handles on every side so if you need to quickly grab it you don’t have to fumble for a handle while trying to juggle your child.All-in-all it’s probably one of my favorite purchases. Expensive? Obviously. Worth it? YES DEAR LORD YES

Will update when baby arrives but it came beautifully packaged and in perfect condition and with awesome storage. I know for the price it should but a lot of things don’t nowadays! I have cats as well so it’s important for me to see that there is a nice storage cover etc .. it feels Saturday yet comfortable— don’t forget to take you the cardboard! I love that I can open the underneath to grab the “mattress” out and clean it for any stains that might seep through the top cover. Not sure how durable it will be but I’m very excited for it and it seems really really sturdy. I thought my bf would tell me it was a ridiculous purchase like most of my things but to my surprise, he looked really impressed with it, too!

This is awesome!!! I did wash it when I received it. I washed it in cold water and hung it to dry and it fit perfectly back on and was not hard to put back together! My baby loves it as do I! Great quality and definitely looks comfortable for my infant 💙

We bought this for our grandson. It’s a perfect fit, everything is as described. Perfect packaging no tears, no stains, we received it in less then 4days. On this picture his 4 days old weighing 8lbs 12.6oz. It’s a must buy.

bought for my sister, just had a baby, my little nephew loves it. So does his mommy rather versatile piece of furniture.

we can get him to sleep 3 straight hours in his doc-a-tot when he's was only sleeping an hour and a half. DEFINITELY worth the money especially if your little one doesn't like sleeping anywhere else.
