Worked well for my old hammer
New handle went in perfectly. Note that this is a replacement handle with preset/pre drilled holes. Will likely last another 20 years with this hammer, like the original handle. A little expensive compared to just buying a new hammer, but I prefer re using when possible.

Preferred selection hard to find.
Good fit and material. Only would ask that you include the LA handle style in the future. This handle is closer to the SA, or "short axe" handle. I have always preferred the LA, or "long axe" handle. So because of the limited selection, I only give 4 stars.

Dalluge replacement handle.
The grain in the handle is going in the right direction, it comes with NEW hex nuts, screws, and allen wrenches so you can replace the old one. I have had this hammer for 10 plus years and this is my first handle I broke. By far the best hammer I have. The hammer is 16 ounces and easy on my wrist and elbow. Just don’t pull to hard on the stubborn nails that don’t come out and you’ll be fine, use the pry-claw.

Don't waste your money.
I'm a Heavy Highway Carpenter, so I'm pretty hard on my tools. I had my original Dalluge for 5 years before the handle split. Bought this one, which was supposed to come with new screws since mine were stripped. Unfortunately the screws did NOT come with the handle, which sucked, but I could deal with that, then when i put it on, the original head did not seat right in the handle, and then the handle split in about a month. All in all, I wouldn't waste the money.

very happy
I have to buy one of these a year every year but it actually ends up being my fault. I will somehow miss what ever I'm swinging at and I'll hit an object a couple of inches below the hammer head. This usually happens quite awhile after I've had the handle attached to the hammer head for a considerable amount of time, maybe 8-10 months. I love these handles and I have been using a Dalluge hammer for years now. I will not move to anything else until someone invents a better hammer. I have tried most of them.
