Works Perfectly
Basic review:Bought this for my Yamaha RX-A1080 and it's working perfectly. It took me all of 3 minutes to set up, and it is exactly what i needed. 5/5 would recommend.Technical Review:My problem may be rather unique, or maybe not.But this is the specific and technical review wish i could have seen before placing my order.I hope it helps someone else.My setup has a living room TV that's 4K and a kitchen TV that's a cheap 1080p which i wanted to always be matched. My AV receiver is a newly bought RX-A1080 from Yamaha, who's dual HDMI outputs were supported to take care of this for me.However the RX-A1080 has two problems. It's dual HDMI out is a mirrored HDMI out (as expected) so when i connect my 4k TV and my 1080p TV the signal is downgraded to 1080p for both of them. It's second problem is that it refused to see any of my other EDID emulators to trick it into sending 4k to both and kept flickering.Additionally my 1080P TV being cheaper, hates trying to downscale and usually just says "resolution not supported" when fed 4k signal through an EDID emulator. This device solved both problems perfectly.i used my laptop to test to make sure it was being seen as a 4K display (which it was) when it's EDID switch was set to 4k and it sent a 4k signal.Connecting my laptop to the HDMI in, and the Kitchen TV to HDMI out 2 (I left HDMI 1 empty and not plugged in) I flipped the switch to downscale the output.and boom, as far as my computer thought, 4k content was being output (including tiling my wallpaper as it does on any 4k display) but the TV was happily displaying the signal with no issues. When plugged into the Yamaha (which had been having a fit with the of EDID emulators) it worked perfectly and instantly.I have not attempted to use it as a splitter since I only needed the EDID and downscaling off an already split signal, but I'd assume it would work perfectly in that capacity as well.

Dirt Cheap Dolby Vision signal processing...
IF you're reading this....Then you probably have a little bit of knowledge in regards to video processing an audio signal processing. You probably have some type of display, as in a projector, that you are trying to sustain Dolby Vision signal processing for.Good news?It absolutely DOES process Dolby Vision signals as well as Dolby Atmos signals!THE DIFFERENCE IN VIDEO QUALITY IS ABSOLUTELY NOTICEABLE AND ASTOUNDING!For this absolute minimal price, this type of technology cannot be beaten. However, the trade-off at this price is that CEC signals that are used to help control other equipment with one remote, do not pass through and are therefore useless. For example when I can pass a CEC signal through, I can turn on my projector and it will automatically tune to the correct input, and also turn on my home theater receiver to the correct input, all at once. That is not possible with this device in place. There is a higher priced version of this that does supposedly pass CEC signals through. I will be returning to this one and purchasing that one, to try.If that is not a concern for you, definitely stick with this item! You will absolutely be glad you did!

Excellent HDCP 2.2 Compliance Work Around
I purchased this splitter because my 4K receiver could only handle hdcp 2.2 protected signals by downgrading them to 1080P. Because essentially all of today's 4K content is hdcp 2.2 protected this turned my 4K AVR into a very overpriced 1080P receiver. I could get a great 4K picture when I used apps directly from my TV or when I attached sources directly to my TV via HDMI but I couldn't bring the AVR into the loop without getting knocked back into the dark ages. (Or maybe about 2013.) I tried to use HDMI ARC (audio return channel) functionality to resolve the issue but ARC would only send a stereo signal back to the AVR. Not a great solution for a guy that just talked his wife into letting him install 11 speakers in the family room.My solution was to send one HDMI signal from the source directly to my 4K TV and another to my AVR. Unfortunately my primary source is a ROKU ultra which only has one HDMI output. That's where this little guy came into play. I used the EZCOO to split the signal from the ROKU ultra. It works like a charm and hasn't had a single issue in the brief time I've been using it. I now have 4K and Dolby ATMOS at the same time! My eyes and ears are happy together.

This thing is awesome!!
This little box is awesome, works great @ 4k and allows editing the EDID. I have a 4k projector but it does not support HDR natively. Using this little box with some special programming and I can watch content in 4k near-HDR (after recalibrating projector in a special mode)No glitches, never needs to be reset or power cycled, it has just been working for 2 years now.

Worked great until it didn't
I purchased this on user reports that this HDMI Splitter would work with an Atem Mini Pro video switcher. For 5 weeks it seemed to work OK, then it bricked for no apparent reason. It will not power up, its not the power cable or the HDMI cables...all other variables have been eliminated. This is just a dead box.

4K HDR projector and 1080P LCD TV with AV receiver
I upgraded to 4k HDR projector but did not want to spend money on AV Receiver(1080p only) so I bought this device. The setup works fine but picture drops periodically(every 10 ~ 30 mins) in scalar mode. I have connected my 4k fire TV to input port, OUT1 to projector and OUT2 to AV Receiver(1080p) input and LCD TV(1080p) to AV receiver(1080p) output. The scalar is enabled for OUT2(1080p). I am able to watch 4k HDR video in projector with Dolby Digital/DTS upto 7.1 audio via AV receiver. The frequent picture drop is the irritating problem(I noticed it in 1080p mode, not watched enough 4k yet). Also it is not able to pass Dolby Digital Plus audio, which is not a huge issue problem as I am sending PCM instead.
