Sharkhide Aluminum Cleaner is a highly concentrated blend of Acids, and cleaning agents that you dilute (with water) to suit the severity of your application. It can be applied anywhere from straight to diluted as much as 10:1 or more depending on the desired results. Sharkhide Aluminum Cleaner is best applied to dry aluminum with an adjustable tip sprayer. Set the adjustable nozzle to the finest mist possible. Mist a 6' to 8' section from the bottom up, let the foam work for a few minutes and rinse off. THAT'S IT! No scrubbing required. Sharkhide Aluminum Cleaner will not harm carpeted bunks, paint or decals. When you're done, that old dark streaked and stained finish will be gone and you're left with a clean, uniform, streak free off white finish. Sharkhide Aluminum Polish is specially formulated to combine the fast cutting properties of a coarse rubbing compound, with the fine polishing characteristics of a polishing rouge. By doing this, you can quickly bring a dull finish to a reflective shine, but without changing compounds and going back over the initial cut, you can continue on to a highly reflective scratch and swirl free finish. Sharkhide Aluminum Polish can be applied by hand as well as with a variable speed-high quality buffer. Since aluminum varies in alloy and hardness, it's suggested to try different pads as well as different buffer speeds to find the best combination for your job. Amazing product!
Amazing product!I included before and after photos.I completely cleaned and polished both pontoons in about 3 days time. Combine this with a Dewalt variable speed polisher and some good polishing pads and you can get a nice shine. It's better than new now.My pontoons were in bad shape. Tons of hard water stains that I could not get out. My three year old boat looked much older and frankly, I hated the look. It now Looks brand new again.A few words of caution; dont expect to do this project fast. It takes time, lots of time and patience. Follow the instructions to a tee. Skipping steps to save time will hinder the final look. Trust me, I tried. Also be prepared with tons of rags and very old disposable clothes. I washed rags twice a day for three days and all my clothes were pitched. Any rags that come into contact with the protectant, had to go too because they smelled so bad. I bought cotton painters rags for that part. The key to this working well, is good polishing pads. You are also going to need a good chemical spray bottle and about 3 containers of paint thinner. That is used after the polishing step to clean off excess polisher. That takes a ton of time and gets EVERYWHERE.One set if this, was almost exactly the amount I needed for my 22ft boat. Not very much product left at all.Will definitely buy again.

Working great
I've used competing products like Toon Brite and actually used it after Sharkhide on a difficult area with the same results. I will say it works great, I don't think that it's better than the other big names however. The polish worked really well not only on the aluminum but with a wet rag, as directions state, it also polished the painted surfaces. I would buy it again but now having used a couple of products with similar results, I will go for the best deal next time.

Ok product
I have a heavy buildup of calcium from the water on my pontoon boat. This cleaned off the black marks but did not touch the buildup.

The product it self I really like but it was supposed to have some rags and two spray bottles in the order that did not come so that was a disappointment but I will definitely order more when needed! Thank you
