Easy cleanup, great coverage.
All of vallejo products I have used for my modeling needs have been top notch and their products is what I've ended up switching to exclusively, I know the ease of cleanup and being water-based is a selling point not to mention coverage is excellent on plastic scale models anyway.

Good Value And Cover Well
Great set of paints well worth the money. If you like Vallejo paints then these kits are great value for money and work out at half the price of buying individually. They cover well and airbrush fine if you get the right consistency. I've added a photo of a model I'm working on at the moment and actually used the RLM Green supplied on the Lancaster because it looked closer to the photos I have of this aircraft than the Humbrol paints recommended by Airfix..

Great paints!
I've been using Vallejo (pronounced "VI -eh- ho") "Air" acrylics for quite some time now, and they're excellent paints if you have an airbrush. As I understand them, they are specifically designed and formulated for airbrushing, and so are very thin to try to apply with a brush. Their color fidelity appears accurate when compared to my references, and they cover the models well and easily. They are, in fact, no pricier per ounce or milliliter than any of the competition and are readily available through dealers and the internet.I would however state that they work well with the Vallejo brands of thinner and flow improver; I have no idea of how compatible these paints are with other brands of thinners or flow improvers. For me, they're a pleasure to work with.

great quality paint
It's a very good paint, great quality, amazing colors and a lot of pigment concentration, however it's airbrush only, you can use it with a regular brush on small areas, but for large areas it's too thin, and you'll end up using several coats to cover the plastic. one more thing, when you first aply it, the colors seem exesively dark, but after a couple days of curing they lighten up, don't know why, it seriusly scared me at first, but it turns good after a couple days

Great colors and easy to work with.
Doing a Fw 190 and this has worked great. I love the easy clean-up, the non-toxic spray environment, the ease of mixing and smooth lay-down. I hate the tip-clogging! That is the trade-off. Even with the Vallejo airbrush flow improver, you still need a pipe cleaner handy to clean your airbrush tip. But, I guess it's worth it. These paints have an almost sweet smell when airbrushing.I have the RLM paint chips from Eagle Editions and Classic Publications. I added a bit of white for scale effect to the Vallejo colors and they seem spot on! At 1/48th scale, the RLM 74/75/76 seem dark and need to be lightened a bit. This paint has a nice feel and snuggles down well to panel lines and details. I've used the Vallejo thinner, water, flow improver. Test and see what works best for your set-up.Don't be afraid to add some drops of White to the colors for best results!
