My 5 and 2 year old kids both loved their advent calendar. My kids loved the chocolate so im sure it tastes great! KID TESTED, KID APPROVED!Be aware, you probably will have to reset all the chocolate pieces back into their proper place. Shipping something like this pretty much guarantees one or more to fall out. Open the bottom, slide out, reset and tape shut. Didn't have an issue with it again.

I purchased two of these because Aldi was sold out of their $2 chocolate advent calendars. I thought I had saved a Christmas tradition by finding these. Unfortunately, the chocolate in both calendars was all loose. There is no guarantee that the flap you open with have a candy so you have to tilt it to try to find one. This item is not returnable due to food safety reasons but the fact that the item does not work as intended should be reason enough to modify the policy. I see reviews from two years back complaining of the same issue. Thankfully, my children didn't complain but it sure bothers me for the price. At 3.5 times the cost of Aldi's advent calendars, I expected a lot more.

This would have had 5 stars but when we opened the package all the pieces were not in their openings so we had to take it apart and replace each chocolate to the correct spot. It had to be kept flat on a table so the chocolate wouldn't come out of its spot again. Other than that our Grandson enjoyed opening his treat every day.

I buy a calender every year for my grandchildren

Chocolate tastes good. But when u hold it up for the child to find the right day the chocolate falls out of its space and when they open door which is hard for little ones to find on their own ittempty and u have to try and find one inside. Disappointing to kids
