Yes 2 times the fins on the vortex have slightly clogged up but it overall works great. My wood was probably alittle damp though, so I can’t really blame it on the fins. It has filled up my 5 gallon pail 2 times leaving the big plastic bag on the dust collector itself only with a thin layer totaling about 1/4”. I’m very happy with that! I use the dust collector on a wide range of tools with varying size of wood chips. ALL of the large chips end up in the pail, only fine fines go into large bag on collector. Glad I got it!

Purchased this to replace my Grizzly wall-mount dust collector. The difference in suction amazed me. I use this on a table saw, bandsaw, mitersaw, lathe and drill press and it reduced the dust and chips in my garage shop to almost nothing. It was an investment that I wish I was able to make long ago...especially for keeping a healthy shop.Update: I’ve been using this for awhile now, and I’m still extremely satisfied with it and glad I bought it for my shop. The only thing I would add that I’ve learned is that if you wait till the bottom bag fills completely to empty it, you’re gonna have a dusty and messy time changing out the bag! Also, I would take the top white bag off once or twice during the life of the bottom bag and knock the dust off the insides. Take it outside and give it a few whacks to get the buildup of fine wood particles that accumulate. If not, you can tell there’s a little loss of suction.Still an excellent purchase for any home woodshop. After you use it and clean it, you will be amazed at all the wood dust that’s not in your garage or shop, and more importantly, your lungs. 😳

I really regret buying this product. It has been like this for about a month now. The reason is that I can't find the dust bags as shown in the picture. Even though I ordered it twice from the same number, I couldn't find the right bags. This machine is a complete pain in the neck and a waste of time. Don't buy it and don't go near it.

Working as advertised for me. It has very good suction power. Seems to be well made. Good thought was put into the manufacturing and packaging of this item. I'm very happy so far. I've had it for a month, and it has preformed well. The packaging was excellent. Assembly was easy. I might need a little more power in the future, but for now, using 1 -2 power tools at at time, this unit delivers. I'm not big on Chinese mfg., as I think they still need a few years to get things right. However, this one was mfg'd in Taiwan. Yes, it's still Asia, but, in my opinion, Taiwan has had the time, if the US company in charge manages them properly, can & has produced quality products. All-in-all, this suits my needs and I'd buy from Jet again.

I did lots of research and this dust collector met my requirements for the price. I have a small wood shop in my garage and this machine has made keeping my garage clean much easier. It was easy to assemble and was ready for use within a half hour.It is much quieter than my shop vac and with the large collection bag rarely do I have to empty it.

He does a lot of wood working in his shop. Since I bought him the vacuum, the shop is always free from sawdust. No more dusty shoes or sawdust on the kitchen floor or on his loathing, hair etc.

I selected this dust collector based on it's technical specs and reviews. It picks up sawdust from my router, band saw and radial arm saw with little spillage. When running it is a bit noisy but not annoying. Would definitely recommend it.

Makes clean up at the end of the day very minimal! Great product for the price!
