Maybelline Face Studio Master Prime Primer, Blur + Illuminate, 1 Fluid Ounce

This is one of my absolute favorite products ever and for the past 6 months or so I haven't been able to find it in any store. They all carry the "500 blur", but I'm convinced that the "illuminate" part is magical fairy dust. I stopped wearing foundation about a year ago and switched to a tinted moisturizer and primer (and concealer. Dark circles are a real thing y'all. No amount of tinted moisturizer can help that). The "blur" on its own has been okay.... It still gives my skin a good texture to start with but it just doesn't light it up the way this one does. Magical fairy dust kissed by unicorns and you can't convince me otherwise. Plus it's cheaper on Amazon than it ever was in the store.

I've had this for a bit but was kind of afraid to use it. I have always been more drawn to a matte look to my makeup. I finally decided to try it and use it every day now. It gives me the perfect amount of dew without looking oily under makeup. I even use it alone without makeup. Smells wonderful too.Ps. It doesn't do much for blurring, in my opinion but it's still great to me.

Great product. Item came in perfect condition. Very reliable and trustworthy seller-issued me a refund with some extra money for courtesy without me even requesting it. Sent me a message about the shelf life being less than should have been. I hadn’t noticed nor would I have. That was a goodwill gesture totally unprompted. I’m impressed!

I don’t wear this as a primer but as the brightening end over my blush. I use bare minerals foundation and some blush then smooth this over my face for a glow. Its feels like putting lotion on and makes it easy to wipe off any mascara that smears.

I bought this after seeing it mentioned in a viral post on Facebook that made it sound like a miracle and bought it without hesitation due to the low price. However, I don't really notice any benefits/improvement in the appearance of my skin or the performance of my make-up after using this product. At least I didn't waste any major amount of money...I also would be willing to try the redness reducing or other variation to see if maybe I just didn't buy the right version for my skin.

If you need a face primer that does the job then this is for you. I did not expect an "over the top" primer when ordering this since it is Maybelline, which is drug store quality. However the primer is better than I expected. It blurs blemishes to a certain extent and it has some shimmer as well. If you like matte primers, make sure you choose a matte version. Also I dont think primer needs to be that expensive since you are just putting it on as a base after your skin care routine, so for what it is, this primer is a great option. I like to put on chanel aqua vitalumiere or girogio armani luminous silk foundation after the primer. Investing in an expensive primer is not necessary, especially when this one works the same as urban decays facial primer!

Very pleased with this primer! I've had a horrible time finding one that actually works. I was worried this would be too shiny, but it's not at all. If my forehead seems a little bright from this product, a matte translucent powder tones it down. The product goes on smoothly. I wouldn't agree that it looks good enough to not need makeup, but it brightens the skin and generally just makes makeup look better and last longer. Definitely buying again and again!

I got this as a gift from my husband. He obviously has great taste. It is very light but really just makes my skin look even and gives me a beautiful glow but not in a shiney way. I really love it.

Habe mir dieses Produkt schon öfter bestellt und bin damit unglaublich zufrieden. Der natürliche Schimmer, den es der Haut verleiht, ist unnachahmlich. Ich trage es über der Tagespflege auf und vermische dann zusätzlich noch meine Foundation 1:1 mit dem Primer.Ich war richtig traurig, als es zuletzt das Produkt hier für einige Zeit nicht mehr gab. Nun ist es wieder da, allerdings sieben Euro teurer als vorher. Wie kann das sein? Ich fand knapp 18€ für ein Maybelline-Produkt schon sehr teuer, aber 25€??Daher nur 4 statt 5 Sterne.
