Firefly FFJR White
Hello Everyone,I received my Firefly FFJR White guitar a couple of weeks ago and been playing it off and on since then. All I’ve done to the guitar is tuning the strings so that they can settle in.The finish, quality, and construction of this guitar is incredible. The headstock is flamboyant. The neck is straight. The frets don’t have dents/divots and are smooth (no sharp edges). The fret board is fine. The body is appealing. The hardware (pickup, output/input jack, volume/tone knob, bridge, pick guard, screws/nuts/strap buttons/fret or inlay markers/fret nut, tuners) is nice, functional, and tight. I believe the tuners are an improvement from past models. It came with a different guitar cable than the blue one but it still functions. In conclusion, this guitar (like the past models) is playable right out of the box, attractive, feels great, looks remarkable, sounds terrific, entices you to play it, and definitely fun to play. For only $119.91 and with no shipping fees, this guitar is an excellent investment! I’ll say it again. Not only are these guitars gorgeous, they’re a pleasure to play.As a Firefly fan, I look forward in purchasing additional models in the future.Thank you Firefly Guitar company/staff for producing this fabulous product!

Very playable and inexpensive.
Not a bad inexpensive guitar. Actually sounds good. My main problem is after you play it for awhile your fretting fingers are discolored. I guess there's a sort of dye used on the fretboard. There are nicks and marks at different places on the instrument but for the cost I don't have a problem, after all some people pay to have that done in custom shops.

Don't know how they do it.
This is my second Firefly. I also bought a red 335 copy. After replacing the pickups on that one with a set of Seymour Duncans it has become my go-to guitar. I've done nothing else to it. It's that good. The fit and finish on this one is even better. And the neck is just like the old LP Jr., thick as a bat. Love it. The neck on the 335 copy is slim, like a 335. Imagine. Love it, too.Like many have said, I don't know how they make and sell a guitar this good for $120. The fret work is good, the necks are straight and solid, the finishes are amazing. Some of the hardware could be better, but it's fine as is.I will probably replace the pickup on this one too, but even so I'll have less than $200 in a fine guitar that's great fun to play.So leave it as it is and have a good guitar. Spend a little money upgrading it and you have a great guitar just the way you like it. For way less than one of the big brand's basic models.Look, I've been playing and gigging over 40 years. I've done arena concerts, clubs, and studio work. I know guitars. I have had (and still have) Les Pauls and Strats and Teles. I'm not saying don't buy those guitars, they're great. But for the money, pound for pound, you absolutely cannot go wrong with this guitar. It's not a good cheap guitar, it's a good guitar, period.

Amazing guitar for the money
This is my third Firefly. I am very happy with this guitar. I have a thin line and a 338 and this junior is beautiful. There are no blemishes, it came perfectly intonated, and you can't beat a mahogany body and a rosewood fretboard. How they sold this for $120 is amazing. I strongly recommend getting this guitar for anyone just starting out or for someone who wants that guitar that they will always go to to pick up and noodle on. Firefly guitars are known to modders because they have such great bare bones, but I am not changing a thing on this except maybe the strings and that's only because of her personal preference. The strings that come with it are just fine.

Tremendous quality for the price
The guitar arrived without shipping damage. Beautiful finish and nice fret work. I did require a lot of setup which I was able to provide. The following steps were needed (some copies of this guitar will require much less). 1. Truss rod adjustment; easy to do and a commonly needed adjustment on a guitar. The neck had a slight back-bend. I reversed the bend so that there is an ever-so-slight forward bend in the neck. Many players prefer the neck to be arrow straight. I then adjusted the bridge to lower the strings over the fingerboard. This takes just minutes with a straight-blade medium screwdriver. The biggest adjustment needed was lowering the string slots with special files. Some examples of this guitar will be good enough from the factory and not require any work on the string slots. Finally I adjusted the intonation with the bridge saddles. The result is a guitar that is a pleasure to play and a pleasure to look at.

Best Junior For Your Money !
I was looking for another Junior type guitar; was about to purchase a bolt-on model before lucking up and finding this hidden gem.I got the white finish and it was flawless. Very nice neck and fretwork. I had to shore up the nut a bit but nothing major. The tuners are cheap but work just fine. The pickup is adequate but I will probably upgrade it as well as the bridge to a Badass type.Overall; I just dont think you'll find a better deal for the money.

Great bang for the $$$
I’d been hearing great stuff about Firefly guitars online for months, but the same thing. Always sold out due to limited runs of models. I heard about the latest through social media and jumped on this and I was not disappointed. I lead worship at my church and this beauty is right there with me and I love the sound and quality that she has. If you can, buy one you won’t be disappointed.
