Natrapel Lemon Eucalyptus 6 Oz Eco-Spray

I have used this on my body and on my porch, and I have always been happy with the results. I stay pretty bug free. For body application I spray it near me and then walk into the spray as it descends. That offers coverage without making me feel coated. I would recommend this product to someone looking for a natural, alternative bug spray that works well.

This actually worked almost as well as deet. I would feel a little something and glance down and any bug that did land on me immediately regretted it and was dead. A little disturbing finding dead bodies on me but it prevented biting completely. The only knocks on it were that bugs still landed on me at a slightly higher rate than with deet and it didn't last quite as long as deet. The bottle claims 6 hours and I think that's very fair, so I just had to reapply once or twice during my trip. The pros for me definitely outweigh the cons. This feels much better on the skin than typical bug repellent, I hate sleeping with deet on but this dries down very nicely and doesn't make you feel covered in chemicals until your next shower. Deet also eats through my nail polish which is a horrifying thought on its own but then I wake up with leaves and grit stuck on my toenails, this is not an issue with the Lemon Eucalyptus Oil. There is a very strong smell when first applying but it's a very citronella smell which I'll take over other repellents. I'm happy I found this and will be sticking with it.

My daughter and I use this when we play tennis on a shady but buggy neighborhood court. Works like a charm and comes with a pleasant aroma.

Without thinking about passable allergies or an intolerance to the spray, Upon this spray, I wanted to go outside, and I sprayed it on meI immediately And regretted it. This smell was so strong that it immediately began to make me ill. I showered twice and had to scrub my hair Four times before I could get it off of me. I had to take Benadryl and was sick all day with a headache and an upset stomach. I would not recommend this to anyone who is hypersensitive to scents Or chemicals.

I've been looking for an alternative to DEET and after reading reviews bought this product and a repellent soap (from a different company). The soap by itself did not repel mosquitoes, so I was relying on this spray to do the trick.Last night, I sprayed my exposed arms, legs and neck and applied some product to my face and behind my ears after spraying it into one of my hands. I also sprayed my clothing and went about keeping an eye on my puppy while she explored the yard. No mosquitoes bit me. I was outside for about 20 minutes and was happy to be bite-free, a pleasant outcome for a mosquito magnet.My first trip outside today also went well. I was out in the yard for about 45 minutes and did not get bitten. The only insect that landed on me was a gnat, and it stopped moving. I came back inside after doing some tasks. Then I went back outside three to three and a half hours later. I had been inside with the AC going, so I didn't think I needed to reapply any spray since I hadn't perspired. I wasn't bitten repeatedly, but one mosquito did get me. I came back inside when a second one buzzed around and tried to land on me for a bite.I was hoping that this safe(r) spray would be the answer to my mosquito problem. But if I have to apply it multiple times throughout the day, it's going to run out very quickly. It just seems that three hours of protection are not enough. Unfortunately, this spray is not cost-effective for me.

Used this up in Idaho recently on a fly fishing trip. Smells great and the flies left me alone after application. Came home and bought some. Better for you that DEET. Highly recommend.
