Gives a deep postbox red, high gloss finish. I used three coats onto primed plywood. There was just a hint of the primer showing after the second coat, but perfect after the third. It does take a long time to dry. Sandtex recommended 16 hours between coats, I left it for 24 hours for the next coat, but even then, I could feel it dragging a little as I was applying the paint, but happy with the results. I've attached a picture of the paint in use on my converted packing case tool store.

I used this for a garage door as I needed strong durable protection. There are a number of paint options I researched, and all had some negative comments about poor coverage. I have used Dulux Weathershield and found it very thin and drippy. So I tried Sandtex as a well known respected brand, and I wanted oil based paint. It was thinner than I expected, but OK, not brilliant. It covered in two coats, mostly OK, but for a perfect finish I will need to apply a third. Colour is excellent, a good match to that shown on the tin.

The colour is exactly the same as a traditional UK post box. Perfect

Does what it says on the tin. Used it to repaint my Double Happiness logo on my driveway pavers. Now you have the complete picture.
