Lovely, Practical Glass Pitcher.
I recommend this pitcher. It is a little pricey, but it is light and practical. It is made of glass, which I prefer over plastic, but it is neither bulky nor heavy. It should be handled with the regular care you would use for something made of glass.I didn't think it would hold a full 2 quarts when I opened it up and saw the size, but it does! It fits perfectly in the outer door of our LG refrigerator. I ended up getting a second one.It is easy to hold and pour from. The lid fits well. It doesn't leak, and it keeps unwanted things out, allowing you to store your beverages safely.(NOTE: We use this primarily for cold beverages. We have an induction stove, so I'm not familiar with heating it on a traditional stove. I have a tea kettle better suited for that purpose anyway.)

Best Pitcher to Make Iced Tea
It was time to retire the giant glass jar we’ve made sun tea in each year. It’s too heavy for me to manage, filled with water and tea bags now. We bought the wonderful Poliviar hot tea kettle earlier this year and a friend sent me a trio of flavors to make iced tea with (Harney and Sons Tropical Iced Teas) where you start with 2 cups hot water poured over the large teabag, wait 15 minutes and then pour 6 cups cold water in, take the tea bag out and put in fridge…iced tea. So I knew that I needed a 64 oz jar. I also needed a jar that I could pour boiling water into and later add cold water to. I also wanted a sturdy handle and a form that would fit nicely on the top shelf of my fridge. This pitcher fit the bill perfectly. It’s 68 ozs. I heated my water to 212 degrees and slowly poured 2 cups over the tea bag into the jar. I let it sit 15 minutes with no lid on it. It was still pretty hot when time to add the cold water so I added it very slowly, one cup at a time so as to not shock the jar from hot to cold immediately. It worked great, the tea bag rose to the top, I squeezed the bag and threw it away, put the lid on and put the jar in the fridge because the cold water had adequately chilled the jar by then. The lid has an open pour section and a filtered pour section if you were to put fruit or herbs in it and wanted to filter that out when pouring. I turn the lid so that no section is open while being stored in the fridge. This is that special Borosilicate glass that can take up to 500 degrees F heat. And it may be made of that thin glass but because of the diamond pattern, it’s very solid and strong. The handle is also robust and easy to hold. Lastly, it’s a nice looking pitcher! Highly reccomend!

Nice product
I really like this product-it’s exactly what I was looking for. Nice looking, good top that’s easy to use and a good size. It is glass and will need to be handled with some care, but it’s not too heavy to use and does the job.

So pretty
I bought this just for me. It makes even ordinary ice tea seem special. It’s gorgeous, a tad heavy and washes up nicely in the dishwasher. (I don’t put the lid in the dishwasher)

Great little pitcher!
I find that if I keep a container of water on my kitchen counter - with my 8 glasses per day goal - I drink more because it is more visible. This sweet little pitcher is very pretty and just holds my 8 glasses of water. I can see over the course of a day how well I am doing. It may be a little game I play with myself, but it works. I am very happy with this pitcher, pretty, smallish, lightweight, easy to clean.

Great pitcher. Excellent customer service!
**UPDATE 8/19/18**: So JCP Kitchen saw my review about the uneven bottom and THEY reached out to me. They apologized and explained that the item is hand blown and that sometimes these things happen. Understandable. They said they wanted to make it right and sent me another pitcher. I received the new pitcher and it’s perfect. No uneven bottom! What a great company! They took the time to reach out to me and make it right. That’s a rarity in this day and age. So I’m updating my stars from 3 to 5 because it really is a great pitcher and the customer service was awesome. I will definitely be buying other products from them knowing that I’m dealing with a reputable company with excellent customer service.**Original Review**: Bought this pitcher to make ice tea after looking at what I spend daily for it at certain coffee places. You know what I’m talking about! Pitcher arrived in one piece which is nice whenever ordering anything glass. I noticed what a lot of others have said about the thinness of the glass. Remind myself that it’s borosilicate and should still be strong. I have granite countertops so I remind myself to be careful when setting it down. I set it down and notice it’s a little wobbly. What the heck! I turn it over and there seems to be a bubble like imperfection in the bottom. Like the whole bottom wasn’t flattened fully. I can take my finger and barely pull back on the handle and it will rock backwards about 20 degrees before hitting the edge of the pitcher and then stop. It makes me nervous, wobbly glass pitcher, granite counter top, hot liquids!!! I start having the internal ‘should I send this back?’ conversation but I really hate sending stuff back, especially at this price point. So I decide to do a test run. I put the pitcher in the sink because I’m going to pour hot water in it to brew my tea and if it shatters well it’s contained at least. Pour in the hot water from the kettle and it holds, phew. I let it brew and then fill it the rest of the way with cold water. Let’s see if it’s still wobbly with the weight of the water in it? Yep, still a little wobbly but not as bad. So I decide to keep it because like I said, I hate returning things. I’ve had it for 3 weeks now and it hasn’t busted. However I dare not pour the water in it when it’s on the counter because of the wobble. I just can’t trust it. I have to be super conscious whenever I’m handling it. We’ll see how long I can keep it alive.PROS: Borosilicate glass, can pour hot liquids into it. It’s NOT plastic. The lid is snug and has a “screen” to catch tea leaves for when the odd teabag bursts. It looks very, very nice.**Updated** Excellent customer service!CONS: Imperfection in the base that makes it a bit wobbly. Wish the glass was a bit thicker.Would I buy another one, MAYBE, if I was certain that the base was flat. I really want to give this 5 stars because it does have a lot going for it but I’m going with 3 stars. **Updated** Giving it 5 stars since they sent me a new one without an imperfection and they reached out to me. It really is a great little pitcher.
