No need to send it back.
This product did not come with adequate instructions, nor is there an on-line instruction manual that I have been able to access. When I first paired it to my phone, I was able to get a readout of the first day's activity, but since then, I haven't been able to get a connection. Other problems include the inconvenience of reading from the bracelet. The print on the daily steps screen is very small. In order to read the steps I need to tap my way through several screens, the uses for which I haven't been able to determine because of the lack of manual. The information on the watch did not match the information on the app back when I could still transfer data from one to the other. In fairness, I need to admit that I am a senior, who is nevertheless somewhat proficient with electronics. Perhaps this device is intended for younger, more savvy individuals. This is an update, after about 10 days: with the help of some tech-smart folks, I have managed to get the device to work, sort of. And the Akasma folks have offered me a refund without my having to send the watch back, so that's a plus. But here are the problems that remain:1. There is no Home button on the tracker, so I need to scroll through several screens to find the two bits of info I usually need: the time and my step count.2. The print is so small that it is difficult to read the step count without my reading glasses.3. The screen light is very dim, especially outdoors, where I am usually wanting to read the step count.4. I cannot access my history without using my phone.5. I still haven't discovered the purpose of the Hike, Bike, etc. screens on the watch; they are just an annoyance as I try to find time or steps count.6. It is very difficult to remove the band for charging. It always feels as if I am going to break the watch as I pull and tug.7. The instruction manual is nearly unintelligible.Another update: a very patient service rep from the seller has explained most of my problems. I do thank her for taking the time. I have received a refund, so I'm not out financially from this experience. I'm still looking for a better tracker, but I can't complain about customer service.

So far, so good! Can't beat the price.
UPDATE 11/25:I was reached out to by Akasama's customer service and had a very positive experience with them. Adding 1 star for their customer service since they were very helpful. Thank you for reaching out!UPDATE 7/19:I've decided to purchase another fitness tracker. The battery for this one doesn't last 48 hours which is super annoying, especially when it dies in the middle of the afternoon while I'm trying to track my steps. It is very hard to pull the strap off of the USB charger, sometimes I can't get it off. It also isn't very reactive to turning on and the tap spot is finicky in that you have to hit it just right. If this is a $40 fitness tracker then I don't know how anything under this price has any reviews above a 2-star. The pros is that it is lightweight and the color screen is very crisp. The app is also very intuitive and well designed but, other than those things, I would not recommend this product to an active person.I just received my fitness tracker last night and have been wearing it since. Some initial impressions:-Looks great, very simple and slim design, I have a small wrist so it was important that I find something that wasn't super bulky.-I have this band on the second to last hole, I'm wondering if this should come with a slightly smaller band as well? The screen area is quite long and gets uncomfortable where my wrist bone pokes out a bit. I've turned it around so that the face is on the underside of wrist to see if that is more comfortable.-Very easy to understand and use for both the tracker and the accompanying app. I like some of its added features, like find my phone and texting previews.-The heart rate monitor keeps jumping around going from high 90s to high 50s, I can't tell what my heart rate actually is. I work out a lot so it is important to me that this function works well so I can keep track of my activity levels...not sure if this will be a returnable offense for me or not-Over quality seems great for the price!

Pretty good fitness watch for its price!
I was excited to buy this because of all the great reviews. I've had my watch for a little more than a month now and I would recommend it to a friend.Pros:- It's comfortable: I wear mine every day and every night when I go to sleep.- The watch tracks steps pretty accurately.- Great battery - One charge lasts me about 2 weeks! I've only had to charge my watch 3 times since I got it!- Many features: choose a work out to be tracked: walking, running, hiking, and biking.- Workout calories burned seem accurate when I compare them to the machines at the gym.Cons:- I had trouble connecting it to my phone. The amazon description and the actual box the watch comes in told me to download to completely different apps. I believe it worked best with the app that the box told me to use.- My watch did not track my sleep the first two nights, so I was worried it was broken and was going to need a return. Luckily it worked afterward.- The screen scratches pretty easily. Mine is pretty scuffed up by now, to the point where it's slightly difficult to see my screen. I wish they offered screen protectors. And hey, if they do that's my fault then. I would just recommend being more careful as you go throughout your day.- The watch tends to OVER track your steps sometimes. One morning I woke up with about 600 steps on my watch even though I was asleep the whole night and before midnight.Overall I think it's a good watch for this price. I would definitely recommend it to someone that is beginning a fitness journey/doesn't want to commit to a Fitbit or Apple watch. Hopefully, I'll be using this for a couple of more years until I upgrade!
