The Tusk crankcase splitter tool is a very tough and durable for splitting crankcases and is suitable from the everyday mechanics to the weekend hobbyist.

I will say I question the durability of this unit prior to purchasing it however the above pictures explains what beast this little thing is it literally tore the case in half. Are used it for a ‘15 Polaris Ranger 570 and I didn’t see a bolt in the middle of the case due to it being covered in dirt and grease it yanked the top half right out Bolt and everything. Great Job Tusk y’all made a solid product.

This is a very good specialty tool. I used it to split my vintage Husqvarna 250 cases and it worked flawlessly. The instructions are brief, but if you know what you are doing, the points made there will help you use the splitter safely with no damage to your cases or tool.

This tool came with everything needed and easy-to-follow instructions. Appears to be well made with quality materials. It really made the rebuild go a little easier. It's always nice to have the right tool for the job.

it did the job and ive used it twice with no issues. im not gonna lie the welds didnt look to great but it held up in both jobs. my moms boyfriend welded for 30 years and he said they look alright other than that no complaints
