ASUS ET2040IUK-C1 All-in-One Desktop 20-inch Windows 8.1 Intel Celeron 2GB DDR3 500GB HDD (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I sent this back after a couple weeks and am writing this review from an Acer desktop instead. First of all, it was extremely slow. Much slower than the 5 year old laptop it was replacing. It couldn't even play a video on Youtube correctly- it was out of sync and kept freezing. Then, it would freeze and try to restart. I say "try" because it would get stuck on either updating or doing something with Windows features for HOURS. One day I wasn't able to use it at all because I couldn't get it to finish restarting. How much updating and optimizing does a week old computer need to do?I don't ask that much from much computer as I don't game anymore, but it needs to be able to surf the web and play the occasional video without having a hissy fit. Also, not related to the computer itself, but what WERE they thinking with Windows 8? I want nice, organized lists to find programs and files, not to have them scattered everywhere as multicolored icons. It shouldn't be a scavenger hunt to find the Control Panel! Anyway, I like the idea of the all-in-one computer, but if you don't need the portability of a laptop I would recommend sticking to a desktop for now. I paid slightly more for about 4x the RAM and hard drive space, and bought a 24 inch monitor for my near-sighted eyes;) So much happier. As always, your mileage may vary...some people have written great reviews so it's possible I just got a faulty machine.

Ok the item on the bottom of the tablet Is broken and the tablet won't work without being plug in to the wall so I can't really take it anywhere that doesn't have a outlet

Okay unit. However, the processing unit is terribly slow. The kind of slow that makes you what to pack it up, and send it back to the seller.

ok lets take a look at this. It come with almost 20" monitor, Key board, Mouse, Windows 8 Home (not Pro) works wireless and has built in network card, with powerd usb ports. WHAT DO YOU WANT FOR 300 BUCKS!!!!!I usually don't write reviews but I had to comment on this machine.It is a great little internet surfer as well a research computer to write papers, do homework, spreadsheets, check emails, web shopping.....Sure it a little slow, it has a Celeron Processor and only 2 gigs of ram. but as a work station or kids PC or Adult that uses a computer for accounting or secretarial writing you cant beat it!Don't expect it to be a game paying, video editing, Netflix surfing work horse.If you want a smooth video playing, game endeavoring, movie watching computer get a quad core processor with at least 8 gigs ram.This is a great deal for a great low impact user.Its like Progresso soup everything is in there!

defect item, you need to check these things before you ship to customers. It is a total wait of time for me ordering this product. Time is money.

Packaging and description described it as a 500GB HDD, but i recieved an 120GB HDD instead
