Fit my 167FMM engine perfect that I put in a 82 XL185. Most wires were color coded correctly, a few were not. Make sure all wires are pushed fully in their seat inside the connectors. I found a few that were loose. Great value.

Pros: Shipping came on time, quality product for the price, came with a few extras not in the pictures. I liked the fact that everything was clearly packed properly.Cons: several unlabled wires and very unclear instructions printed on a lazer printer thats almost out of toner, so you could barely read them. It took me pulling it all out and half way putting it together before realizing that most of it was extra wires with no lables as to where they go. Otherwise if you know exactly where every one of those wires go to without looking at the instructions it will work great for your application. Did not work for my scooter, project, but nonetheless it should have a better wiring diagram.

This was actually a decent kit, I used this to completely re wire my 84 Honda xl250 enduro dirt bike that would not get spark. I think I had a broken wire somewhere on my stock harness.I used my original stator and pulse generator with the coil and voltage regulator from this kit along with all the new wiring and ignition. I had my bike running in 2 evenings. The stator and cdi wiring colors are all the same as the factory honda ones.

Yes I see but still don’t get I have 2 wires left the blue/red and green/red where the magneto is those 2 wires go straight out to the top wires where do those go connected I don’t get it it should be for the clutch and kill switch

Had to swap some pins around in the connector so not quite plug and play. Overall though once I figured that our I was able to fire up the engine.

I bought the harness to use on my Tornado 250cc almost everything connected correctly except the stator. It was all quality parts just did not work out for my application.
