Brilliant!
I have had a hard core Pasquini espresso machine for over 20 years, they are like owning a car, need to be maintained & refurbished etc.I purchased a Nespersso mini for the sleek look and the convenience. Also to give my big machine a break, and of course I get lazy once in awhile.I started using the Nespresso and ordered varieties of interesting sleeves of coffee, I noticed they all had an after taste, all most a build up coating taste, maybe the aluminum? Anyway, purchased these long lasting stainless steel pods and love them! I can use any espresso I like, saves money, saves waste and makes the coffee more personal and actually the taste is so much better, no matter the origin of the actual bean. I am hoping that the little filter paper can be made out of parchment or something other than the metal type paper being used now. Oh did I mention the brush is lovely the taper is beautiful!

So happy with this purchase
If these reusable capsules did not produce espresso as good or better than Nespresso brand disposable (recyclable) capsules, then nothing else would matter. But they do!As I write this, I am sipping espresso made from Bustelo coffee that I bought at my supermarket, and I love that I can now make frothy, rich, strong espresso for about 10 cents a cup instead of over a dollar a cup if I had been sending away to Nespresso for pods.It requires about as much effort to fill, brew and clean these pods as making coffee in my regular carafe, by which I mean, not much. A 5 minute break from work to fill up and seal three pods is a welcome step away from the desk most days. The materials, packaging and care with which the merchant has put together and shipped this package make it money well spent. Highly recommended!

Best of the lot, but not for long
I wrote the below shortly after buying these pods. Now, exactly refund days + 1 day later, all three pods have lost their seal rings. These sit under the rim in an indentation, and prevent water passing the pod. The rings cannot be re-seated in their required position, nor does any home-grown solution work. Water now passes the pod and you get what doesn't even pass for an Americano. I contacted the seller 3 days ago, just after this happened, but no reply. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DON'T BUY THIS.Original review:After buying a reusable stainless steel pod with a screw-on top, only to find that it delivers a thin gruel-like coffee that wouldn't qualify as an espresso even if tortured, these pods were a relief. They give a fine crema from ground beans, and are indistinguishable from standard Nespresso pods. Cleaning them out into anything but the zink is a little tricky—perhaps I tamp too hard—and the O-ring often has to be retrieved from the grounds, but so what? If you're just rinsing them, it'll be easy.

A bit finnicky, but a very good solution
I went through my entire set of foil seals before writing this review. Overall, I really like this as an option. My goal was to reduce cost overall, and to be able to use my choice of coffee brand in my Nespresso Pixie. It takes some time and some patience to do every day, and I still have some days where the pod will pour out the back instead of into the cup.Pros:- The tamper is perfectly sized to fit into the inner funnel of the pods, so you can get a good tamp on the coffee grounds. It's a solid weight while being compact.- Package comes with a solid set of adhesive foil tops, I use 2 at a time (occasionally 3 on tired days) several days a week, which lasted me from August - November- Case can be retained to stow everything if you don't have a lot of space- Scoop included is perfect size to pour into the pods- Rubber seals are bright orange, helping to distinguish them by colour from grounds (still cons below related to this)- Definitely helped me cut out my starbucks addiction, and thereby save plenty of money!- Solid manufacturing, good quality rubber seals & metal for both the tamp and the podsCons:- Those orange seal rings! To clean properly you need to remove them, and they will go back in without too much issue. The problem comes in when you're emptying the coffee into a bin...and the ring often goes with it. I lost the first ring within 2 days of using the pods, before I realised that was an issue to be on watch for. As it is I've had to be careful not to drop them in the trash so I don't have to lose or dig them out.- The brush is pretty useless, and why is it white for goodness sake?! It's like a keyboard brush, I tried it out and quickly stopped. I recommend a bamboo skewer in general, it does the trick much better and can be used to hang on to the little ring seals while you empty the pods- The fact that these pods are solid metal means that you can't yank them out immediately and clean them, unless you've got very callused fingers.- If you do decide to try the above, you'll find that the adhesive from the foil tops will stay on the metal if you remove them while hot- Requires time compared to most other options other than french press. This should be obvious but it's still a con; I usually take ~7min to fill, tamp, and seal 2 pods but I don't hurry- Sometimes the pod pours into the reservoir instead of into the measuring cup I use; at first I thought this was from over filling, but reducing the amount of grounds didn't stop it from recurringAside from the orange seals going on walkabout and the waiting to clean aspects, I strongly recommend these as an option for espresso coffee addicts

surprisingly good product
I decided to give it a try after reading the reviews both good and bad. It sounded like a good product overall. It arrived today and the first thing I did was try it and I am impressed with how easy to make a great shot of Espresso Assuming the coffee grind is right, the water is soft and the coffee beans used are to your liking. The pod fits perfectly into the chamber. very well made! I will be saving a lot of money by using these. I wish It came with more than just 3 pods because I don't feel like spending another $35 on another package. I just need more pods :)

Kind of a slow, messy endeavor - brush broke
This is just okay. It’s sort of a pain to use in general - slow and messy - or maybe that’s just me. The nadie to the brush fell off within a couple weeks so we had to glue it back together. I’m just waiting for the inevitable, we accidentally throw it in the recycling with the other purchased pods.
