I had the Denon AVR 4800 many years ago and loved it. I recently purchased a home that was prewired througout the house and needed a receiver. This one has not disappointed. Easy to setup & use and teh sound quality is great! Wish they would have had me sign for it though. Delivery notes say it was handed to resident, but reality is, it was left at my front door in plain sight

I updated from an S710W to keep up with the LG C9 I bought. It works great. I connected the 2 with some good hdmi cables and everything works. Spotify Connect is cool, Google home integration is also nice. A really nice unit, lots of power, great sound & features for the price. A few years ago a unit like this wouldn't have been possible, but if it were it would cost a small fortune.

I upgraded my Yamaha RX-V379 to this reciver after several years and countless hours it was going out. The difference is incredible! Such a huge improvement on sound quality and overall performance. Taking the step into the next level of recivers was the right choice. My Pioneer Andrew Jones speakers sound incredible with crisp clean sound

Purchased two of these to replace two other Denon receivers that had been shorted out by an apparent static / or electric surge from a lightening strike through the phone system into the internet connection. Apparently the older systems had the HDMI input damaged on the satellite cable input. I've got surge protectors everywhere, but the static / or surge apparently came in through an alternate route than the electrical power system. Stayed with Denon as they are easy to set up and work well and produce good sound.

This unit took a little time to figure out but once it was dialed in--OH BOY! Great sound and it has capabilities that allow you to adjust settings to your liking. It would have been nice to have a printed user manual rather than an online version.

Easy setup, replaced older version of the Denon receiver. Works great, even better than the older one with more options.

For the discounted price and simply needing something to hook up to my inset ceiling speakers it was just right. Not trying to break the bank but still get a good receiver.

Was excited to receive this unit (Denon AVR-X1600H 4K UHD AV Receiver | 2019 Model). Problems began during setup. Once the receiver was setup with speakers and Peripheral devices, when powered up it "froze" (the receiver would not respond to any remote or manual directions) two different times. The only way to bring it back was to unplug then plug it back in (very problematic). Later when setting up my peripheral Frontier DVR (all peripherals setup using HDMI cables) the signal source would switch to the Roku peripheral, this switch of signal source was not requested and just appeared on its own. Once this switch happened, all signal sources (DVD, DVR, XBOX, Firestick) would immediately switch to the Roku source. I never had the chance to experience the audio, video, wireless or bluetooth qualities of this receiver so I can't comment on those. Needless to say I packed the unit back into its box and returned it. Thank goodness for Amazon's easy return process.
