Too many problems
The quality of the machine is average. It was purchased as a gift for my wife based on the great reviews on Amazon. Now I've come to believe that most of them are fake. From the get go the machine leaked from the connection between the porta filter and the brewing head. The frother makes a noise like a train horn and while it heats up the milk it produces no foam. The water container in the back had a hairline leak from the base valve. Too many problems for a brand new product,so was returned. Not recommended

Espresso Machine
Don’t know why there are so many bad reviews but this compact expresso maker works great for me. Instructions are horribly written; I had to tried out a few times to get it finally to work. Plug in the power cord and press the on button and let it warm up for a few minutes while you fill up the water tank and grind your beans. Once the green button turns on, fill up your portafilter below the max line to prevent water spilling. The machine is defaulted to brewing so no need the press the button underneath power button. Then just turn the knob to the left to let it do the magic. Once the you get enough liquid, turn the knob by turning it to the center position. The secret to a great cup of coffee is freshly roasted and grinded beans.

Highly recommend.
This espresso machine is pretty good.My husband likes drinking one or two cups of coffee every day. So he told me that he really wanted to buy a coffee machine then he could make coffee by himself. I bought the coffee machine as his birthday gift and he was very surprised. For using couple days, he told me that the machine was awesome. There has the heavy-duty double spout espresso filter which is convenient and easy to use, brewing one or two espresso at a time. For me I like the coffee with a lot of milk, so the milk frother is really good design. It also makes the coffee taste much better. So that we can save more money for making coffee every day by ourselves. ^_^

looks great but requires some patience
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I don’t think this thing gets hot enough even with its boasted 1000 watt rating. My $40 Mr. Coffee got hotter and the steamer was way more powerful. But it was really ugly and I lost the steel filter insert so I decided to upgrade and picked up this unit based on the mostly positive reviews and the cost. It is really easy to use and not confusing at all as some suggest, but where it matters which is the temperature and steamer power it seems to fall short.Update: So this thing does get hot provided that you wait an extra 5 minutes or so after the green light goes on. I will post a new video at some (combine before and after) point showing this but the point is that the ready light is not truly ready. If you are in a hurry this could be a problem for you but if you turn it on, go do something else, and the come back to it it’s not a big deal.Update: so I bumped it a star simply because I do enjoy the espresso this makes provided I wait 5 to 10 min after the light goes green. I updated the video but I am not sure the quality will show you the hot steam coming off. For the steamer I will get a stand alone machine designed for steaming milk. I would not recommend this unit for that.Final update: So I got an opportunity to try a new unit. The good news is that the steamer was a lot more powerful on the second unit. The bad news is that all of the other things mentioned about the ready light and the water from the steamer still occurred with this second unit. So the steamer is not for me but for the $$ it is what it is. Maybe the $2000 steamers are what you need but I picked up a stand alone steamer for $50 and that worked out great. Also worth noting that it comes packaged really well and it almost looks like they test the unit as well because I saw some dried out droplets right below the steamer nozzle out of the box.Dec 27 update: the unit broke. Looks like the unit lasted for 5 months. I used it on average twice/day. The unit heats up, turns on, but although the water gets sucked in, there is no pressure to force it through and it just trickles through. I'm not sure exactly what is broken; either the pump or the boiler(?). I have no idea but what a disappointing time for it to die.

Great machine for Latte's and Cappuccinos!
Amazing coffee machine. This machine was super easy to assemble and the instructions were pretty clear on how to prime it. My family uses the machine four or five times everyday and for it's price, can't be beat. Great Machine for a reasonable price, highly recommend!

Poorly made expresso machine made in china
We've owned other expresso machines but this has to be the most poorly made and very cheap. Was broken from day one when we received it. It sprayed water and coffee everywhere. It was a real disappointment.

love this product!
I’ve been using this machine at least two times everyday for two weeks. I bought fresh coffee beans from whole foods or fairway where they would grind for you. So I wouldn’t buy those five hundred dollars coffee machine that could grind coffee beans. This is a great machine as it is easy to operate and does the job. It heats up very quickly, so no need to wait too long. It also makes great espresso as well as lattes. You can turn off the machine whenever you want. The machine is sturdy and the price is reasonable comparing to other expensive machines. The other good thing I need to say is the water tank that is huge. So I don’t need to refill them very often. Also, the handle of the water tank makes it so easy to refill the water. The holiday season is coming up, I would definitely buy this machine for my coffee lover friends.
