Lorell LLR49256 Wall Mount Fan

The fan works well, it has three speeds, but the blades don’t appear to be very strong.It is installed in our kitchen wall, in a tropical setting.There was an issue with the delivery of the fan, it took an unusual long time, over two months to be delivered to me. I depend on a carrier in Florida to bring my Amazon orders to the Dominican Republic, they normally deliver my orders on timely fashion, however, I don’t know who failed on the chain delivery for the long delay!

I wasn't sure about this fan prior to buying - the reviews were great (but there are so many fake reviews on here now, that doesn't carry the weight it once did) but the price was in the "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't" range. I put it on my Amazon Shopping List, and when I saw that the price had dropped again (it was $25-something when I bought it), I had to pull the trigger. VERY GLAD I DID.I'm sitting under my Lorell fan as I type this. I've run it every day for a month, it's been perfect.It's quiet, but it does make some noise. Nothing you need to yell over or crank up the volume on the TV, just a nice, ambient air-moving sound.It moves plenty of air. On a hot, humid day, I put it on high, but low or medium is usually plenty.It was easy to put together and mount, and I hate putting things together and installing them.Mine is mounted about head-high on the wall, so I don't use the pull cords. I can't really say how well they do or don't work. Don't care :)If you're looking for a wall mounted oscillating fan, I can recommend this one. The price was right for me, and it works well.Having said all of the above, if the unthinkable happens and it craps out on me before a year has passed, I'll come back and update my review through my tears of disappointment.

Bought fan in 2017 for use in a grow room. This fan runs 7 months of the year 24/7 on low in oscillation mode. It is now almost 5 years later and it still work. Twice per year I take the fan apart and clean it and oil it with an electric motor synthetic oil. You must oil motors and clean compartments from dust to expect them to continue operating for many years. For $50 this was a very good investment. I had looked at purchasing a commercial fan for $200 made with better quality materials. I am glad this worked instead.

My old oscillating fan on a pedestal finally bit the dust and I started searching for a new one in a decent price range. That's when I ran across this one that was a wall mount fan. This is a perfect replacement!! I no longer need to worry about taking up floor space or blocking the hallway where I like to direct air flow from the air conditioner. Mounting it was very easy also; just one simple bracket to attach to the wall which the fan "hangs" on. That means it will also be easy to take down and stored away during the colder seasons. I also bought a second one for the bedroom that I had been considering putting a ceiling fan into. I think this will do just fine instead.It seems well made and durable, but I haven't had it and used it long enough to put it to the test. The only thing I would change about is the length of the cord. Five feet is just not long enough for a fan that can be mounted up at ceiling range.

Assembly and install was strait forward and very easy. It is far and above better than the cheap floor standing fan I got a Lowes. If I had any complaints it would be that the slowest speed isn't quite slow enough. I put this up in a bedroom and even on the slowest setting it still moves a lot of air and as a result makes a moderate amount of noise. It didn't take me long to get used to it and now I'm fine with the increase in noise from the Lowes fan but it was definitely noticeable at first.I also purchased a Hurricane Classic 16-Inch Wall Mount Oscillating Fan at the same time I purchased this Lorell fan figuring that they would be different and the quietest one would go in the bedroom but it turned out both the fan are exactly the same. Looking at them from the outside I can find absolutely no difference between the two differently branded fans. Perhaps the motors are different? But I doubt it. Just something to keep in mind, might as well buy the cheaper one.

While it lasted, it was absolutely perfect. Never had a problem with the gears or the pull-strings, but I didn't generally mess with it either. We just left it oscillating in the rec room all day every day, only turning it off every three or four months to clean the little bit of accumulated dust from the blades and cage. This morning, I found it dead, and I'm a little disappointed to be ordering a second after only three years, but it really is a good fan and this will be easier than drilling new holes to mount a different model. Thinking about taking it apart and looking for a fuse before I click the order button, but I won't hesitate to purchase again if it's truly a goner.

I’ve had this fan for a little over a year and unfortunately it died just outside of the one year warranty. I’m giving it five stars because the manufacturer shipped me a brand new fan when I reached out to ask about parts. I have it mounted in my laundry room to keep my front load washer dry in between loads.

Received the fan different than what's displayed on the product page (see photo). The fan blows alot of air even on the first setting for 10x12 room. Setup was straight forward.What I didn't like about the item is:1) Came with a 5' power cord2) The cord exits the base from the top. Not only is it unsightly to run alongside the unit, but you lose about 8" off the power cord this way so you end up with about 4" 4" of usable cord to reach your outlet. I'm going to need an extension cord for my application.3) While the unit ships with mounting hardware and screws, they fail to include any wall anchors with them. Placing the middle of the mount directly center with the stud, the other screws attach to the wall past the edge of the stud. I had to use wall anchors for the 2 attachment points on the side of the mount and screwed the center into the wall stud.4) I would have preferred a black fan blade like shown but I received an all white one.

Easy to install, noise level is great.But when it comes to value, I can say there is issues,I have had it less than a year I purchased it in march and it is now october I use it a night as I need white noise to sleep, when i tried to turn on last night it no longer worked.I use surge protectors on every electronic in my house there should be no reason why the fan died in less than a year with just being used at night.There better be a warranty on this unit.Because less than 1 year of use for the cost is ridiculous.Edit:Went to the company to have it replaced motor replaced,Replacement unit has just died now two units dead within a year.

The media could not be loaded.  What a wonderful find! I'm in love with this.. Perfect for medium - large rooms.. Even on 1 the fan moves enough air to circulate through the entire room. Noise isn't bothersome... It's like a low hum, like white noise. We love it. The strings are long enough for the kids to manage, clicks when the speed is changed. Oscillation is good too.

I don't know why wall fans are such an alien idea here in north america, but after over a decade of not finding any and constantly tripping over the feet of pedistal fan.This fan is easy to install. easy to make secure, the wall mount can be fixed too a stud entirely.No vibration issuesmy only complaint would be the cord being too short. Easily fixed by a dollar store extension, but disspointing.

Very good fan. Quiet, even on high. Mounted it first on a wooden board and then board to the wall, as recommended in the instructions (as shaking/movement would cause it to rip out of drywall - however, it really didn't shake at all once mounted to the board). Cord was long enough to hang down and plug into nearest outlet. Has pull cords that hang down and you pull to set the speed (haven't used the oscillating function as we have it mounted pretty much directly in front of our treadmill - which is where we wanted the "cooling off" breeze while walking/running). Overall, good quality and happy with the model/price. Quick delivery as well on Amazon prime.

me gusto la facilidad de armarlo, a mi papa le gusta de cordones y ponerlos en la pared, ya he comprado de control remoto y fallan muy rapido. Me gustaria que pudiese bajarse mas el morro, pero bueno asi esta bien, total da buen aire, de hecho compre dos, uno instalado en el cuarto de mi papa y otro en su baño.
