I think all the reviews must be for the larger 70L. The 50L only has one large compartment that is zipped besides the top pocket. The front and side pouches are open without a zipper. There is no separate sleeping bag compartment. No compartment for a water bladder, although there is a hole for the hose out of the main compartment. Pack is comfortable and well built. Would like more secure small pouches for pocket knife, chap stick, matches, etc., and a dedicated water pouch.I returned from a climb up Mt. Shasta, and liked the pack. I was able to organize my smaller items by throwing in a separate pouch into the main compartment. The non-zippered pockets held everything secure, even while glacading down the ice. The 50L was the perfect size for a 15 hour, high elevation hike. The ice ax was secured well to the outside of the pack with the attached loop and straps. The pack was comfortable with about 30 pounds of weight in it at the start. Carried 2 liter bladder inside the main compartment in addition to 1 liter in the outside pouch.

No better pack for the price.1. Fit is amazing with frame being a high point keeping weight well managed!2. It will fit medium build to slim tall builds. I am 6’3” long torso and it actually fits! The 7OL backpack is made to last. With incredible workmanship, you will probably never need to replace it. It came very quickly an was wrapped securel. This is the mercedes Benz of backpacks. It holds quite a lot and is very large. Travels well too. Durable, atractive and practicle. Great for travel, camping or a day hike. The best part about this is the vendor. They back up their product 100 percent. Really nice people. Follow the high standards of Amazon customer service. Very pleased with their service and kindness.

Took it for a long run and one of the straps broke. Spend your money on the more reputable brands. This one is garbage.Update: Contacted by company rep and was refunded in full. Seems like they have good customer service. Not sure about the actual bag.

Amazing Hiking Bag!!!! I used it on my 4 day hiking trip to Alaska and it worked very well and fit everything I needed.

The 50L backpack has one large compartment with a half pocket inside to hold a water bladder, which once filled with the water makes a lot less room for other items. The frame makes it feel a little crowded inside for placing things as large a sleeping bag. There is easy access to the bottom of the pack with the U zipper, which is nice. The rain flap on top has a zipped pocket to store things and there are 2 open side pockets and one open back pocket. We packed it today for my 115 lbs daughter's overnight hike and I think it would've be better to get the 70L; we only packed a change of light clothes, two sock pairs, a few dry snacks, 2.5 liter water bladder, small camera, and a few hygiene items, and it was challenging to attach the sleeping bag and a pad. I will update after she returns to see how she felt about hiking with it.

I love this backpack I take it every where and I can even run with it!!!
