Updated below! Great value, 3 packages for the price of 2! In depth review
Two updates below-please skip to the bottom for the gist of what I’m saying.😊Great value for someone who is looking for the thinnest, heaviest protection you can get without an extra long length. These may not be the most discreet (I’ve liked Poise discreet before since they’re thinner and more comfortable, and can be disguised more easily under clothing,) but that’s not to say these won’t work better! The pad was a bit too wide to fit comfortably between my legs, and not so comfy at first, and the pad was bit longer than expected (probably 7- 8 inches long). It will only work with panties like bikinis, hip huggers, boy shorts, or something with moderate back coverage. It will not work with thongs at all, which is a bummer. I hope they design a heavy absorbency thong liner! If only! Haha. The pad seems more stiff than pads for women during their cycle, but probably because it can absorb more.I received fast shipping, the product is in excellent condition, and my only concerns are if it can be seen through legging and jeans (it feels like it might be noticeable since it goes up a bit high on the backside...) but I understand the necessity of it... and the comfort issue with the width of the pad being too wide. I’m trying to bend the pad down on the sides to fix it though, haha! It creates ripples in the pad if that makes sense, since it’s bunched up a bit. Hopefully it’s not an issue, and I’ll update review if it persists. Sorry if that’s too much information but this IS a review of women’s pads. Haha. Have a wonderful day. Thank you!Update: Pad becomes less stiff as you move around, and these have really nice leak protection. Very please I purchased these!Update #2: So using one package I’ve determined these are pretty amazing. I never used a pad of any kind with better absorbency or leak protection. The downfall to that is the pad is thick, like wearing a folded up washcloth in your underwear 😂 haha!It seems the price has been jacked up much higher than when I purchased, I suppose due to demand. I can’t recall exactly how much I paid for a pack of three but I think it was less than $20.... 😅Anyways, they’re still a bit too stiff for my preference and a small amount too wide, but they absorb a ridiculous amount. They work so well. 😃 If you’re unfortunate enough to accidentally tear one open while wet, it’s similar to the inside of a child’s diaper, where there’s some sort of soft substance that is used to help pull liquid away from the body. It’s not cotton...perhaps could be silica gel..but other than that my guess is as good as yours. The manufacturer description on the packages should explain it in more depth, but I think some gel like substance is responsible for the great water (or other) retention. I would just say keep this in mind if you have pets that tend to tear into the garbage because I’m not sure if anything could be potentially dangerous to them if they ingest it. 🐕 🦝Update 3: Although this continues to be the best brand in my opinion, the prices are inflating way too high to justify purchasing these anymore. It is sad. I understand the price raise is happening with many companies, including off brands, due to the pandemic, labor shortage, and supply issues. I’ve switched to using Certainty/Options/Equate by Walmart when it’s on sale or the Walgreens branded ones. Sadly those are not as flattering on the booty or as discreet, nor made ass well as the Always ones are. I know some people may need multiple per day and night for medical purposes, so just be cautious of the price per pad. I think if it’s 40-50 cents per pad for a moderately heavy absorbency pad, it just costs too much to be practical for long term care. I try to find ones under 30 cents a piece when possible, but lately the Always Discreet underwear has been a better deal than some of the pads in terms of absorbency. Still ranges from 75 cents to a dollar each though… So in summary, don’t pay ridiculous prices just for this brand because it’s the most discreet and absorbs the most. It IS a great product line, they are less wide than competitors’ pads so for women it is much more comfortable than the off brands, but much more expensive than some alternatives, so if money is tight and you have to choose between quality or quantity choose quantity right now until prices aren’t so high. I hope this helps and you have a wonderful day. ♥️TL/DR: (Too long, didn’t read) they are now more than double in price (almost triple) than they were when I first wrote this review, so some people may want to compare the prices at the time of purchase with some cheaper options. It is a great product. Just too, too pricey right now. Sending love to anyone who is struggling with medical or mental health conditions seen or unseen right now.I use these due to some medical issues caused by a prescription medication I took, I won’t go into detail, but it can happen to anyone, so why not be kind? Pro tip, wear sexy undies with these to feel less like a grandma. Haha.

Love the new version
I was like most of the other reviewers here when the new version came out in 2024. I thought for sure I was going to have problems. I even contacted P&G and filed a complaint. The woman I spoke with apologized but also asked that I give them a chance. Glad I did, I've been using the newer version for about 4 months now and I love them. They absorb more than the old longer version so I have very few leaks now. They are more comfortable and stick to my various types of underwear better. I still have some of the older longer style and only use them when sticking around home. Even though this new and improved pad is smaller it does a much better job and the bonus - it doesn't take up as much space in my luggage.

These don't have those inconvenient, difficult, wings
These don't have wings - thank goodness! HATE wings! They do have good adhesive, so they don't slip or slide. They are tapered flatter toward the ends, so they don't make a ridge on even the tightest pants or shorts, even white. The core is like a baby diaper, some kind of super-absorbent beads, that quickly absorb even gushes. Total odor control. Very comfortable. They may cost a little more, but they are well worth it. I wear #5 during the day, #6 at night and have never had a leak.

Does its job
These are really easy to use, as you just pull them off their individual packaging, with nothing else coming off to be only trash. You DO want to press firmly against the panty from the top to the bottom of the pad. Otherwise, you'll find the pad coming loose in the rear if you didn't press from top to bottom. These cost significantly less than the D****ds, and I would assume* to be just as effective if you only leak a little or some when you cough, sneeze or laugh really hard a few times during the day. They've certainly been effective for me. These aren't the ones made for heavy leakage or incontinence, so, first, make sure you read the labels and descriptions and decide which you feel is right for you. That's the most important thing, and then you should read reviews by others who specifically bought THAT type, which is specified for each buyer just above their written reviews. These are comfortable, so you don't really think much about wearing one until an accident happens. I like the long design just to make certain that there's nothing able to reach the panty. They don't label top or bottom, so I was a little confused at first because there are 3 V's pointing to one end, so I thought that must go at the top. The padding seems to taper a little there, I discovered, so it seems to be allowing the natural scrunching together effect of thighs closed and leading to the backside. At least I find it best for me. When you dispose of one, you just wrap back into the thin plastic it came off and out of, so no other material needs to be used.----------* I assume because I've never tried the more expensive brand.

Dependable
I started using this product as soon as I started to experience bladder leaks. Unit holds up well with no embarrassments.as leaks became heavier increased product number to accommodate; I use both day and night

Smaller,& thinner
I’ve been wearing these pads a couple years and the last box I got, the pads are smaller, thinner aren’t as absorbent, plus and they have a fragrance that’s a little off putting. I’m going try the next size up and hopefully the will help,
