Seals are OK, but your jack may have a built-in leak.
The seals are good. The jack I have does not have seals at every joint. It required heat to disassemble and leaked when reassembled. If you have such a jack and it persists in leaking, try smearing oil resistant RTV on the outside. Apply five or more layers, allowing each to cure thoroughly before the next.
