Dechra Mal-A-Ket Wipes for Dogs & Cats 50 Ct

Been using these wipes to. Lean the skin folds for years. They work very well.

My cat uses an inhailer and it gets on his skin on his face( inhailer is not ment for skin) so he itches his face and his nails cause cuts and this pad heals the deep cuts almost overnight.

My cat got ringworm on his head and these wipes were the best topical treatment I found. They have two active antifungals. When I tried ointments and creams, my cat would become obsessed with grooming them off, and would further irritate his lesions as well as pulling out more fur. The wipes deposit a clear liquid only and that seemed to bother him less. My only complaint would be the scent, which is like a rancid strawberry fragrance. That said, I’m sure the active ingredients have an odor, and there’s only so much you can do to mask that. I tried 6 other topicals before I found this one, and am writing the review because this was the most helpful thing I tried. I used this in conjunction with prescription Intrafungol and the ringworm cleared up within 6-8 weeks with no new lesions. Make sure you wipe the cat or dog’s entire face and whiskers because the spores can hide out on the whiskers. I did this am and pm for 6 weeks. Be diligent because ringworm lives in the top and su dermal layers of the skin and can continue to surface. I gave a special treat afterward and my cat came to look forward to the grooming, once he got used to it, because he looked forward to the treat. His head looks great now and all fur has regrown. Total treatment time was 8 weeks.

I purchased these wipes to combat my (forehead) fungal acne (AKA malassezia/pityrosporum folliculitis) as they have 1% ketoconazole in them.The pads are pink-colored, thin, have a slight vinegar scent (they have 2% acetic acid in them), and are surprisingly gentle on my skin (I have sensitive skin). I much prefer this type of application of ketoconazole compared to my old routine of using Nizoral shampoo (1% ketoconazole) on my face for 5-10 minutes. The Nizoral made my skin dry and after a while, my skin would sting/burn. However, with these wipes, I have no issues whatsoever. I simply wipe my face with the pads and allow the solution to sink in for 5-10 minutes. Then, I wash off the solution with a cleanser and continue with my skincare routine as normal.These pads are effective and within a few days of using them once a day, my fungal acne is gone. I continue to use these pads as needed (maybe once or twice a week) to maintain my results. I am grateful to Dechra for making this item!

Doesn't smell great, but works really well on "ringworm" or fungal infections. Both of my Chihuahuas have had fungal infections on their ears. I got a black light and I could see the florescent green glow of a fungal infection on their ears. Amazing! So, a few days of treating the area with Mal-A-Ket and it's gone. Also important to change bedding, vacuum house and keep the fungal spores from multiplying. And, there is NO WORM in ringworm. It is a fungal infection related to athlete's foot. Chihuahuas have such BIG ears, it is easy for them to pick it up from something as simple in walking in the grass. The smell is strong and I don't think dogs like the smell, but the product doesn't cause them any pain or discomfort. It simply kills the fungal infection.

Has helped tremendously with a weird yeast infection my dog got on her neck. Her hair all fell out there....maybe from her bandana and collar being damp? Who knows... But her Vet recommended these wipes. I would forget to do it everyday but even so, after about 5x I could see a huge improvement in the skin and her not scratching all the time. The scent is nice and there is plenty of the medication on the wipes. It seems to be very soothing as the dog doesn't fight me applying it anymore- she likes it now. Too soon to see if hair will grow back ...but dog is 16 years old, so it may be a slow process . Glad I got this for her.

Only contained 50 wipes. Yes, I counted them after reading some of the reviews. The package appeared to be sealed but on end lifted off rather easily so maybe someone returned it? Either way, exactly 10 were missing. The wipes seemed to be saturated nicely with a small amount of liquid at the bottom of the jar.I can’t say whether these work or not as I have not used them yet.

Perfect for my dogs corners of his mouth. He is a cocker spaniel and gets what they call “cocker mouth” because food bacteria builds up and then causes a really funky odor. These were recommended by his vet, I was going to buy them there but they were literally $25!!!!!!I’m glad I checked Amazon online before I left the vets office and decided to go with Amazon for sure!!! I have used them a couple times and they work great!!!

Love these. My Frenchie has itchy feet and was always licking her toes. After wiping between her toes before bed she doesn’t lick her feet at all anymore. These are a life saver.

My dog was red and itchy on her stomach and genitals. I used these wipes morning and night initially, looking much better after one day of use. I am very happy with these wipes (that can be pulled apart into three pads out of one) that have cleared up an itchy and uncomfortable rash. I would highly recommend.

Work well, lot more wipes than the brand we had been purchased from the vet. Very thin, which is fine, but sometimes tricky to separate. Smelly, would be better if the scent were changed. Overall, they do the trick, and are a better value.

The media could not be loaded.  Good as the shampoo. Works for my pup with yeast and additional skin issuesSealed, but my package was ripped open and no email sent like normal. Almost porch pirated.Off to buy a wifi outdoor and indoor camera now.

These are really thin small round wipes. They worked amazing on my frenchies acne within three days I saw major changes. I recommend this to anyone who has a dog suffering with acne.
