Stampede 2151-2 Vigilante Premium Bug Shield Hood Protector

Thing to note this is not a stick mounted one, I had to pop the plastic rivets on the rubber weather seal and them run the metal screws into that hole. It all aligned perfectly and I wont have to worry about 3m tape coming off on the highway!

Ordered this open box item to save a few bucks. To my surprise it was better than new and was easy to install...in less than 5 minutes. It fits great, looks good and has a low profile look. Makes my 2014 Explorer Limited look even better, plus no harm to the hood's rubber seal.

Bought used one and when I had ordered it, it was listed as fitting my vehicle. I went past my return period because I didn't have my vehicle because it was at a shop to be repaired. Finally got my vehicle back in the spring and found it didn't fit. End of summer now and still mad how I was scammed. Had to go buy a new one so I could get what I wanted, so didn't save any money buying used.

None of the holes line up with my vehicle's existing holes, not even close. Also, shape is slightly wrong and will not allow the hood to close at all! The Amazon "this fits your vehicle" for this item on a 2016 Explorer is incorrect.

Good product

Great product, it looks great & fits our 2013 Ford Explorer like a glove. I took my time with the install, but it still only took about 20 min and every hole lined up perfect. It probably could be installed in half that time, but I wasn't in a hurry.My wife loves it too, she was trying pictures and posting on Facebook as soon as I finished.

Very easy to install- maybe took 10 minutes total. Hood still shuts easily. Happy I purchased this one.
